Skins Compression C400 Bib Shorts

SKINS C400 men's compression bib shorts are more than a cushion for your bum. SKINS C400 is the only high performance range to use in-motion measurement to define the correct level of compression needed during activity. This improves circulation, getting more oxygen-rich blood to your muscles and reducing lactic acid build-up.

Based on 400 key fitting points, items in the SKINS C400 range are cut for on-bike comfort and improved core body control and power, as well as less post-exercise muscle soreness.

C400 bib shorts feature the Elastic Interface® Technology Multi-D Anatomic Carbonium chamois. This expands and contracts with every pedal stroke, following your motion and eliminating friction. High-density foam helps relieve pressure in the perineal area for maximum comfort, without compromising on breathability.

So you'll have more power and comfort as you take your legs to their limits.

Skins Compression C400 Bib Shorts Technology:

  • Dynamic Gradient Compression:
    • Increases oxygen delivery to active muscles while in motion and reduces lactic-acid build-up for more power and less recovery time.
  • Muscle Focus:
    • Uniquely wrapping and supporting your key muscle groups to reduce movement and focus direction for less vibration in your muscles, less soft tissue damage and less soreness after exercise.
  • Warp Knit:
    • The fabric in SKINS is warp knitted using multiple fine quality yarns to give superior performance - Warp knit fabrics have no natural stretch – instead, the spandex mix ensures specific levels of elasticity and perfectly controlled compression.
  • Moisture Management:
    • Keeping you dry through advanced wicking is inherent in all SKINS fabrics - moisture is drawn away from your skin, so you stay dry and comfortable.
  • 50 UV Protection:
    • SKINS was born in Australia, so we know a thing or two about exerting ourselves in the sun. Our fabrics have a UV protection of 50 , which means you can get out and train harder without worrying about the sun related risks.
  • 400 Fit:
    • A super comfortable fit, more precise, targeted Gradient Compression and in some cases, a greater range of leg lengths for men and different body shapes for women.
  • C400 Chamois:
    • The Multi-D Anatomic Carbonium's unique anatomically curved shape perfectly fits the area where your bum meets the saddle, eliminating friction as you pedal, while allowing maximum breathability.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Feels good but padding could be thicker Material feels very good, seam/fold at the thigh area seems like a great idea comfort wise using no sew technology however only time will tell how it'll be before the glue deteriorates and it unravels. The reflective elements began to come off after the 3rd washing, granted it was washed in a washing machine but only in the gentle cycle. Padding could be a little thicker too. So judging by the asking price, there are other options out there. 28 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by As good as advertised So what made me buy this bib shorts? Watching the pro's cycle day after day in no obvious discomfort made me realise the severe discomfort I experience after a few hours in the seat may have something to do with my kit. I used to buy the cheep shorts and paid the price as far as ride comfort goes. As far as the "compression" bit goes I cannot comment yet, but yes it feals very comfortable, The only thing I am upset about is that I haven't discovered these bib shorts earlier in my cycling life. 18 September 2013
