Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product and easy enough to fit. Easy enough to fit but do move about a bit. Good value for money and keeps the rest of the group happy. 10 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but with a slight problem I bought these for my flat bar road bike with 28c tyres so ended up getting the one without aero adaptor. Needed these as I'd have to ride to work in my uniform and didn't want to arrive covered in rain water and dirt. They do the job very well in keeping me dry and clean and keep around 90% of the water off me. I have got the whole attaching them to my bike thing down, so can have them attatched in around 2 minutes. The only problem is that they do not cover the down-tube at all. This means that any water flicking off the tyres can hit the tube and splash on the back of your legs and shoes as well as the dirty rain water splashing onto the gear components. I guess this isn't too much of a problem if your riding on clean roads, but unfortunately for me I ride through an area with plenty of construction work so the roads have a fair share of dirt on them. Would definitely recommend if your riding on clean roads, want something that you can attach and detach in mere minutes. Just be weary on riding on dirty roads on your good bike! 02 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by best on/off guards you can buy I've got a road bike with low clearance now so some other clip on versions i used to use don't fit. plus they were harder to remove/fit as they were semi permanent and more fragile (stays and parts broke easily ) take time on the initial set up and these come on on of super easy, offer fantastic protection and are secure and rattle free i don't use the rubber flaps supplied as i find these ugly and cause the blades to bounce more and cause a slight rattle 27 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Work as they should. After a bit of faffing with the initial set up and a few practice runs getting them on without any rubbing I have found these to be great. And I'm sure club mates appreciate them too. 30 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy fitting guards It took about 10 minutes to fit these to my fixed gear bike. Easy to adjust and they stay well in their place. The material seems to get scratches quite easily. The rubber attachment things are not pretty. 12 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to setup and transfer Bought a set of these as I'd started going on club runs, my wife has also started with a club so I wanted mudguards which could be swapped between bikes. Although the stays are at different heights from one bike to the other swapping the mudguards takes about 2 mins (although you'll need to buy extra frame protection as they only come with 4). Once on they don't rattle around (unless you hit something serious) and give very good protection from splash/spray. 11 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent alternative to fixed guards I bought these guards as I have just fitted some slightly fatter winter tyres (28c) to my Giant Defy 1 and there wasn't enough clearance to fit full guards. They went on pretty quickly but needed some tweeking to get them tight to the wheel. No tools are needed to do this, you simply bend the stays of the mudguards until they fit. After a few tweeks on the first couple of rides, the guards are now doing a good job. The front is tight to the fork and does as good a job as full guards. The rear sits a few cm away from the stays and as such, there is still a bit of dirt and water being thrown up towards the seat post and saddle although it doesn't get on me. The rear brake is left exposed (as is the case for all clip on guards) and needs cleaning after every ride. There is no rattle from the Raceblades and they are pretty light, so I soon forgot that they were there. They seem robust enough to stand a fair bit of abuse and simply bend and recoil when lent against anything. Although I will probably get narrower tyres and fixed full mudguards next winter, these are doing a pretty good job in the meanwhile. 16 January 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Unfortunately the front mudguard does not fit the front folk/wheel of my Scott CR1Pro. Very disappointed as the back one was so easy. The aero adaptor makes no difference to the fit sadly. 03 January 2014

Answer:
Got the XLs for my Defy 3 today, the back goes straight on, can't get the fronts on, think it needs the aero adapter SKS only supply with the 'normal' ones, bit annoying.

Answer:
The tyre size itself should be stamped somewhere on the sidewall of the tyre. If this is not the case; measuring the internal width of the rim will give the parameters for which tyre sizes are compatible with the wheels; which will help to get the best sized tyre for use with these mudguards.

Answer:
The 18-23c size should be ok, but depending on the conditions you ride I would opt for the 23-32c size as this will give you better clearance for debris (mud, leaves etc).

Answer:
These guards attach to the chainstay/ fork and should be compatible with the majority of bikes. Not being a Giant dealer I can't confirm but I would expect them to fit the Escape 2 without any trouble, yes.

The rubber tails (spoilers) are included with the wider (32c) version of these guards; the narrow version does not include them.
