Rated 5 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid but lightweight stem Bought in the 35mm length this stem is built well, as lightweight as they come and looks great. Nice rounded edges protect the knees too. 14 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by finish looks fresh!!! Pictures dont do it justice... And it looks the biz 07 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic short stem I have had this for a few months with raceface kashima 785mm bars and feels like a dream. I was a little hesitant dropping from a 60mm stem to a 35mm stem, but it feels great on the downhill sections and when pulling it into turns. I don't have any issues on climbs either as I run fox 160 36's. It looks sturdy and the best looking stem I have seen out there. A great piece of bling :-) 07 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spank Bearclaw Spike Race Stem Не используйте крышечку, идущую в комплекте. Она с резинкой, после каждой поездки рулевая люфтит. Лечится крышкой без резинки уплотнительной. 04 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent quality! This stem is a tad expensive but cheap in comparison to other big brand names. I am increasingly becoming more fond of spank products due to the quality and feel. This stem has nice proportions and looks athletically right! Only time will tell about how durable it is regarding finish etc. I would also like to ad that the top cap is great as it comes with a rubber o-ring, something ive not come across before, a rubber grommet to go over the bolt hole would also be a nice addition to this pack. 06 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very stem but a little costly This is an awesome stem, top quality and looks. Just a little on the pricey side but was worth it to finish off the colour matching on my bike. Not a lot more to say about it - it works! 06 January 2014

Dimensions

I was wondering where the stem length is measured? ie middle of steerer tube to middle of bar, or back of bar to edge of steerer tube? Thanks

Answer:
These stems are measured center to center (ie from the center of the handlebar clamping area to the center of the steerer clamp).

Are these ok with carbon bars?

Got some Easton haven carbon bars, the tightness setting of the bolts on my current stem is a lot lower than the bolts on this, just wanted to make sure it's not going to be a problem

Answer:
The torque value for the stem bolts refers to the needs of the stem, rather than the bars they are clamping to. This should be fine on a carbon or aluminium bar alike.
