Our unique patented Oohbah™ profile with inverted tube well, increases rigidity immensely compared with rims currently available. Additionally the Oohbah™ allows us to optimize the design and drastically reduce weight to offer the toughest performance hoops in their price to weight ranges. The sectional profile is super rigid, while the BeadNip™ ensures that the tire remains in the beadseat, even while riding at minimal tire pressure the nip also reduced snake bites.

Nice rims, nice colors and decals, very resistant and I trust so much on Spank components.

i wanted the stiffy but were out of stock, this wheel is light strong and ive run it through every surface available and the paint is still fine, only marks are from me putting a tire on, (thats the downfall of this rim tyres are super hard to put on, ive tried maxxis high roller 2.7 and a michelin wild grip'r which wouldnt even go on!!)

If you have these laced by chain reaction they will last forever.a have a tendency of buckling rear wheels due to my over the top whips (on my third set) that don't always come out right...I had a nipple upgrade on the rear wheel and they did an insane job! Theres a slight buckle on the rear, but I found out it was just the tire was out of line due to a double whip attempt (I still bail single whips :/ ) and that was my fault, these rims always do their job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous light and stiff, great colours
mine have taken a few hits and remained straight, true and undinked (if there is such a word) i think the build of the wheel plays the largest part in its strength, any double walled rim from one of the major players will be fine if they are properly assembled and spoke tension is regularly checked.
as for these rims, they look the business, the pictures do the finish no justice at all, it's like a brushed anodised aluminium finish on the coloured wheels, the graphics seem to be painted and the wheel clearcoated, so far (6 months regular use) they have held up well cosmetically, with just a couple of light marks.
i have used them for everything from riding to the shops, to rocky downhill, to local dirt jumps, they are light, strong and look the bomb.

Pretty damn good at taking square edge hits but really weak laterally. Still round but a little wobbly after a few small bails off the north shore. Lack of pinning, welding and eyelets doesn't scream out quality either.
Look good and are light though.
