SRAM RED & SRAM Force cranks have a SUPERSIZED option with BB30, a new industrial standard for bottom brackets. BB30 is stiffer than standard bottom brackets – delivering more power to the pedal, nearly 20% lighter – for flying up the hills, and offers substantially more ankle clearance – no more discomfort while riding.
Rated 1 out of 5 by stubs Very Poor
This is not a good buy if you ride anywhere wet. I had rusty water coming out of the bearings after one wet ride.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Oldsi Poor design & quality. Rusts out very quickly
Bad design. OK if the bike never gets wet but rust out really quickly. When will engineers that design modern mountain bikes ever learn? The additional cost of a product that works i.e. properly sealed and non corroding stainless steel would be negligible. Very irritating!

As the title says really. These are rubbish. On my third one already. They rust out form the centre - no good if you ride your bike off road in British weather conditions.
Tried repacking with greese from the inside but didnt work very long before the BB started creaking under preasure.
Sram DON'T offer any warranty on these either - chris kings come with 5 yrs to put it in perspective. I guess you pay your money and take the risk. I know what im buying next!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Does not last long
This product does not last long. In my case 1st last for 4 months. 2nd one last less than one month. I ride often in wet condition. Never had problem with traditional shimano BB on same ride conditions.
Have not tried the ceramic one. It's five time more expensive.
I hope CRC would make CHRIS KING PFBB 30 available soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Worst thing I ever bought!!!!!
These things don't last long. I have been through three in the last 6 months. Basically after about three wet rides the none drive side packs up even after putting more grease in to keep the mud and water out. I've fitted an FSA PF30 now, the none drive side bearing is better sealed on the FSA BB, but time will tell.

Beware, this does not reach 83mm bottom bracket frames. Although it can be used seperated internaly. Another quality product form Sram non the less.
