Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous bearings too open to elements
These came stock on a bike i bought and i am flabberghasted at the price of replacement jockeywheels. I agree with the other posters here; the bearings seem to be far too open to the elements, and on muddy winter rides all the wet mud gets inside them, then when the mud dries inside them they seize up, stopping the whole drivechain from working, unseizing them isn't a problem however, plenty of water and spray copious amounts of lube into them, crap quality for the price.

I have a 2007 CBoardman h/tail Pro & the jockey wheels finally gave up after 4 years. New wheels came almost the next day from CRC (good service as always)fitted straight away & out to play. Riding bike for 4 odd weeks now & not a bother. If they last another 4 years they deserve 5 stars. Only gripe is the price, harsh compared to SHIMANO etc etc. Otherwise would have got 5 stars.

If these get wet and you leave them for more than a day or so they seize up. You have to clean your bike straight after you've used it to stop it from happening which tbh sometimes i don't (like most other people i too!)
