Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Kind of expensive but curiously better than the OE X9 jockey wheels. They are very quiet and seem to be lasting well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous expensive and fiddly
Why, why why are these so expensive and fiddly to put on and not last long????
Having Sram fitted to my bike seemed great but now wish it was shimano, which is less expensive, a breeze to fit and seems to last longer. What a rip off.

Well these items have lasted so far 7 years in my bike !, yes still the original x.9! These, if any, wearable unit does not last forever without care and maintenance. I detach these twice a year and add a good vaseline and they are still like new! However, these are ridicilously expensive, thats one good reason to keep them in good condition!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous DO NOT BUY. GET SOME 6801-2RS BEARINGS
SRAM jockey wheels wear absurdly quickly since they are open bearings. instead of just getting more, replace the actual bearings. NB the lower one has bearings, the top is just a bush. just lube it up. get the following: 6801-2RS bearings. they fit perfectly in to the jockey wheel, and will last a lot longer. They cost about 2 quid each.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Very poor bearings
Love the X.9 for it's shifting but myself and many others are getting a wee bit annoyed at how frequently the bearings in the lower jockey disintegrate. Replacing jockey wheels twice a year at this price make me think it's time to go back to XT set up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous too much money
I am now on my second set of these. I managed to buy a sealed bearing race for the lower wheel from a bearing supplier for a fiver! why so much money for 2 injection moulded pieces of plastic and a couple of pressings????? Shimano on next bike I think.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Sram Jockey Wheels X9
These work well.....for about 6 months and then its another set required. I can't believe Sram can't get the bearings sealed a bit better. And the price for such an obviously cheap and simple part is excessive.
