Rated 4 out of 5 by Strong Converted my hardtail into a single speed and decided on this chain after reading the reviews.. It was cheap and feels strong... Fit my 38t / 16t perfect.. Runs smooth.. A good buy.. 18 January 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Easy to fit thanks to the quick link, or whatever their trademark name is for it. This is about the only good point. It's noisy, rusts easily despite cleaning and oiling regularly and mine has sheared a link while beginning a sprint after only 1000km of relatively easy riding. I'd rather use an elastic band! 07 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great I have run this chain for 2.5 years on my dj bike and am only having to get a new one now.You know its great when the spockets wear out before the chain. 06 July 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by not very good I bought this chain about 11 months ago. I have use it in my old 3speed cruiser. Probably used just under 100km and it snapped into pieces in the middle of a crowd, under normal stress. I had some thrilling moments because I had no hand brake and I couldn't stuff my shoe to the tyre because of the mudguards. Although I have kept the bike outside almost all the time and the rain and snow may have done their job ruining the chain, I think this chain is not very reliable considering the old chain did just fine about 20 years and 10000km. Only good thing is that it wasn't too expensive back then. 30 May 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheap but strechy I run a Rohloff of both my bikes so don't need a super slick chain with good shifting capabiliites. I do circa 100 miles a week on a mixture of road commute and singletrack mainly using my hardtail frame with horizontal dropouts. It's a cheap chain but streches VERY quickly. I was having to 'tighten' up my back wheel almost every 2 weeks. In fairness you get what you pay for. 15 March 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by brilliant chain quite heavey but strong and great for single speed 23 February 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good chain I have a single speed and had lots of trouble with chains stretching. My previous Shimano chain required tightening almost weekly (100-200km intervals). I cycled almost 2000km on this before it required tightening. Installation is quick and easy. Recommended. 09 September 2011
