Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality SRAM cassette. I have upgraded from 7 to 8 speed fitting this cassette to a Shimano hub which works perfectly and is worth noting for anyone who may not be sure. The quality is excellent for the money as is the accuracy and smoothness of the gearchange. I would recommend using a SRAM chain which as you would expect compliments this cassette very well. 12 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by EXcellent for the money. Swapped out worn HG30 8spd 12-23 with for this. Instant weight reduction, looks much nicer and partnered with a new KMC 8-93 chain, shifts better up and down than the original. 17 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Upgrade Replaced the original cassette and chain on the Forme bike bought here on Chain Reaction. Very much lighter, looks great in bright finish and changes OK but not perfect with Sram chain fitted at same time. Yes only 8 sprockets but who really need 10 or 11? Just adds to the problems. 21 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very light and smooth running. Bought this to replace a shimano unit, sram are so much lighter and run very smoothly , only done about five hundred miles on this one but it is running as smooth as others i have used and no signs of premature ware so can look forward to thousands of hassle free miles. 08 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by cassette sram 12 -23 for mtb first class service again from crc to early to rewiew the casstte but feels smooth 11 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really surprised!!!! Bought this to drop a cog on the rear and really really surprised. The quality is right up there, the weight came out as 218g too and the shift between Shimano mechs and shifters and this SRAM piece once finely tuned is sublime. 16 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect shifting nicely made Never been a fan of SRAM but got this in the sale £15 to replace a shimano unit., put on with a new kmc chain. Works very well with smooth shifting as it should and is nicely made. Would buy again. 15 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light weight ! It ’s lighter than Shimano CS-HG-8. My favorite one . Superior. 07 January 2014

Answer:
Yes; this cassette will fit any standard Shimano/SRAM style multi-speed (8/9sp) freehub. It should be fine on your Subway 2.

Can I replace with a Shimano?

I have this on my road bike but would like a 10 speed 12-30 or so cassette. Can I replace this with a Shimano (Tiagra 10 speed) or must I stay with SRAM on this hub? (I know about different chain, etc. if I go 10 speed)

Answer:
SRAM and Shimano cassettes are splined to fit on the same freehub. However; use of a cassette spacer to fit a 10-speed cassette will be required.

Changing to 10-speed requires a complete drivetrain overhaul; chain, derailleurs and shifters etc.

Answer:
If you have the Freehub and cassette style then the ‘SRAM PG850 8 Speed Road Cassette’ would be ideal. You need to check what Freehub style your Dahon Bike would use.
