Rated 5 out of 5 by Take a bit of setting up with the front mech but I've had no trouble getting it sorted. I road with Force on my race bike this summer and just had to have SRAM on my training bike to replicate it. The ergonomics beat shimano by miles for my money, pure class. 15 January 2008
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good solid quality - up there with Shimano. Takes a mind shift, tho', to operate as one lever performs all functions ie up and down shift but is easy to get used to. Right gear shift is fantastic, robotic like changing, never misses a shift up or down. However the left is problematic as Sram in their wisdom have only allowed for 2 settings on the up-shift and only one on the down shift. This means that the front derailleur cage cannot be moved across to accommodate the chain on the large casette cogs while on the big ring. This compromises the setting of the derailleur position resulting in the odd thrown chain. So unfortunately only rates a 3 in my book. 09 March 2007
