SRAM X0 3x9 Speed Trigger Shifters

The first Zero Loss trigger shifter where the adjustable pull lever and clamp position can be “dialed in” by the rider.

SRAMX0 3x9 Speed Trigger Shifters Technologies:

  • 1:1 Actuation™ is superior by design. Every unit of cable you pull moves the derailleur the same amount. Actuation stays precise and fluid slogging through mud, bouncing off rocks, rutting through roots — wherever you find yourself, whatever conditions you're in. It's dependable. Tolerant. Easiest to set up. Easiest to adjust. And, not coincidentally, the top choice of the top MTB riders. Got it? Good.
  • MatchMaker Compatible: Save weight and clutter on the bar with MatchMaker. This system holds AVID® levers, a number of SRAM triggers and the RockShox PushLoc control—all with one tidy, light clamp.
  • Zero- Loss simply means, well, zero loss—when you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly—zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.

SRAM X0 3x9 Speed Trigger Shifters Specifications:

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flawless shifting Had shimano deore shifts , replaced with these and an x9 SRAM derailleur. Very very impressed shifting is effortless , no ghost shifting even on hectic rock gardens! Highly recommend . 08 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by adjustable trigger xo shifter , easy and sure action, light weight and includes a lighter wieght thin black cable. cable seems adequite for all frame sizes and goes thru cable outers easy, allowing room for grease too prolong its smooth action and keep water/dirt out. the triggers action is so the adjustfar very smooth and precise ,i'm running a x9 rear shifter and with this trigger i dont think i'll have to upgrade. using an x7 front shifter and thats working so much better to .was missing the next gog and niggling me but now shifts are faultless. the adjustment is on the longer bottom trigger and allows for thirty degrees movement frowards or backwards just by undoing a small allen bolt on the trigger itself . 28 February 2014
28 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top quality! After having several rides spoiled by a faulty right hand alternative shifter I bit the bullet and bought these .The difference is like night and day! Faultless and precise every time....well worth the extra price. With these you get what you pay for. 25 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy with these . Have used these over 3 years or so (and still am using these) with 3 different 1 x 9 setups and have never had any issues whatsoever. I can't say anything about the left shifter (3 x 9) as mine are all right-hand shifters. It pairs up brilliantly with the X0 rear mech for fast, accurate smooth shifts. Large adjustment range for lever position on the RH shifter so finding a comfortable lever position's a snap. The carbon top looks sweet and you can change the downchange lever and the bar clamp if colour co-ordination is your bag! 14 September 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good but prone to break I've had these shifters for about 6 months and the ave been great, but the barrel adjuster mysteriously snapped. The bike is well looked after and not dropped so no idea how this occurred. Problem is the part is like rocking horse s**t to source. This seems to be a common problem on forums also. So although these are great when working and good price in sale I am still contemplating a change! 27 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good I am still running on my original set never had a problem had a bad crash and bent the upshift lever hammerd it straight no prob 17 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it Owned these for years, just bought another set for my new bike, absolutely love them, superb shifting quality. Highly recommended 23 November 2012

Answer:
yes its comes with a thinner black cable , but does not include the outer cables , i did notice that crc stock a cable outer kit made by clarks that would help if you need new outers . the thinner inner cable does run a lot easier thru my existing outers and is alot stronger and harder wearing than normal steel inners .

Answer:
I have bought 3 X0 shifters and can confirm that they're supplied with inner cable, but you will need to obtain the outer cable separately.

Answer:
You can indeed use a Shimano front mech with a SRAM front shifter.

Please note: You cannot use a Shimano/SRAM mix on the rear as they run different pull ratios.

Answer:
Yes, it will work. I use deore xt front deraileur + sram x9 shifters and xtr front deraileur + sram x0 shifters (as sram does not offer 3 x 9 speed front deraileur of x0 series).
I can confirm that everithing works fine on both bikes. Hope this helps

If not what shifter can I replace my existing Shimano A 8515 (9 speed) shifter with, as it is wobbly and will not engage unless I do Gymnastics with my fingers. There does not seem to be any tightening device/screw to pull the shifter body together.

Answer:
The SRAM shifter would not be compatible with your Shimano dérailleurs due to the difference cable pull ratio.

A suitable pair of shifters for you would be the items listed below.
