Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by It's good but.... I've been using xx1 drive train since May 2013 and performance wise it's been great. Can't fault it. My only issue is with wear. I average a couple of twentyi-ish mile rides a week and have been riding throughout the winter. I've just had to replace the chainring, chain, cassette and jockey wheels as they were all worn out after 1200 miles/10 months Could prove really costly to someone who racks up really big miles. 17 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant Have now been using this complete set up for the best part of 6 months and can't fault it. I haven't dropped a chain once. I was a little sceptical about going straight from a 3x10 set up to this and how i was going to cope as i purchased it for a ride along the South Downs Way, but now feel i made a excellent decision. The 32 tooth suits me fine as im an average rider, but someone whos a bit stronger should be able to get away with a higher toothed chain ring. 31 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great overall. A good price for a very light, very stiff single ring crankset. Haven't dropped a chain even when using a non-clutched rear derailleur while racing XC. The only negative I have found that the stick on crank protectors (fitted from factory) have glue seeping out at the edges that is very hard to clean off. 01 October 2013

Bottom bracket and Q-factor

I have a 2014 Specialized Stuntjumper with pressfit 30 R bottom bracket. Will these cranks work as is or will I need to get a new bottom bracket? Also what would you recommend q-factor wise? Will the narrower hit on the frame do you think?

Answer:
This crankset comes with a BB30 and not a PressFit 30; however if your bike currently is running a SRAM PF30 then the crankset will be fine to fit.

Q-Factor is in relation to rider preference with 156 being a 'middle of the road' sizing which should not give any problems.

Q Factor

Hi, I'm hoping you can help.

I don't understand what Q factor I need after reading various posts online. Can you advise me on what I would require for a Sworks Epic 2011 frameset (M). I know I currently run 175 length cranks.

I've bought some of the xx1 components ready from crc and look to complete the setup soon.

Answer:
From experience the 156mm Q-factor cranks may strike the chainstays whilst climbing. Therefore I would recommend the 168mm Q-factor.

What bottom bracket do I need to fit the 175mm QF168 cranks to a Scott Spark 900 RC 2014? The Scott comes with Sram XX GXP PF and Im pretty sure the BB30 will not work.

Answer:
We don't stock Scott bikes but assuming the bottom bracket shell on the Scott Spark 900 RC 2014 measures 89.5mm (92mm with the spacer) in width; in conjunction with the GXP variant of the crankset, the following Press Fit Bottom Bracket will be compatible.

Answer:
Currently this chainset is only available as the BB30 version.

BB30 is not compatible with GXP. To fit this chainset you a BB30 or PressFit 30 frame is required.
