SRAM Corporation is a privately held bicycle component manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1987. SRAM is an acronym comprising the names of its founders, Scott, Ray, and Sam, (where Ray is the middle name of company head Stan Day). There isn't a company more dedicated to cycling than SRAM. You can see it in everything they do, from the crisp instant shift of their trigger shifters, or the way the chain glides smoothly and effortlessly across the powerglide cassette. Their philosophy then and now is to simply make cycling better. It's that simple. If you're not part of the revolution yet, the chances are you soon will be.
