Rated 4 out of 5 by Small piece of machined metal that does what it's suppose to. What more can I say - it is what it is & does what it should!!! 13 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does what it says on the tin Some other shops have these sorts of adaptors for £5, not so at CRC! Perfect for when you have to use a car foot pump to pump your presta tubed tyres up with. 07 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Удобный простой надежный адаптер Золотник от Преста как раз попадает в отверстие переходника, клапан остается закрытый, то есть во время подключения насоса воздух из камеры не стравливается. Отличная вещь. 18 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little thing to have around Whenever I pull one of these bad boys out to use a gas station air line, my riding buddies seem utterly amazed. My original managed to "fall out of the bag" of a fellow rider after I lent it to him, so I have bought a bunch of them. They're pretty cheap after all. 21 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fit & forget. I am stuck with those horrible presta thingies as my rims only accept that size valve. Thank the existant or non existant deity for these. Bunged 'em on & hey presto... proper valves ;-) Been in use for 3 months with no problems 30 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Small but essential Not much to review other than its a perfect addition for the bag to carry for emergencies. 27 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Useful addition to the bike bag Such a handy little thing to have. Simply screw it onto the Presta valve and you're able to quickly pump up tubes at the local gas station. Just keep it in the tiny plastic bag it comes in to stop it getting lost in your bike bag. 20 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by peach of a product For something so simple, it is one of my favourite tools in the tool box. A high quality item, never lets you down, if you get a bad seal to your pump head just apply a little bit of Teflon Grease to seal, pumps fault. Keep in a little bag or a safe in the house. 24 March 2014

Answer:
You can buy one for each tire and leave them on, as well as doing what AllTheGear said. I have had then on my tires for 3 months now & they hold pressure.

Answer:
Unsrew presta valve as you would normally to inflate, screw the adapter onto the presta and then use schraeder pump to inflate
When tyre is inflated remove adapter and screw presta valve back down
repeat procedure for next tyre inflation,
You only need one adapter for all tyres, but buy a spare as you may lose it. for the price why not

Answer:
This adaptor threads directly onto the Presta valve and could be left on if desired; however screwing the Presta valve closed would be required before putting on a valve cap.

Ultimately this adaptor would be classed as a 'pump spare' opposed to a 'tube spare'.

Answer:
it would be unwise to leave these on permanently as you would not be able to lock the presta valve shut after inflation, so they are really only for inflation, but very good for this purpose
