Stan's tubeless system converts your existing wheel set to tubeless. Allows you to use either standard or tubeless tyres. Saving hundreds of pounds and weight over purchasing other Tubeless Systems.
Fits most standard mountain bike rims (Mavic 221, 317, 517, 519, 223 and Sun 0 XC, UFO, Sub4, etc..) Also fits Bontrager 29'er DISC rims.
Note: Rim strips feature Presta valve stems.
NoTubes Standard Tubeless Kit Features:
Two molded rim strips with Presta removable valve cores
One pint of Tyre Sealant with a 60g scoop and spout
One 10 yrd roll of spoke tape
Why use our rim strip on tubeless rims? Without our rim strips, mounting a standard tyre on a tubeless rim creates a poor interface, making it easier to burp air. Using our molded rim strips in tubeless rims creates a much stronger interface with the tyre and rim. The interfacing is so strong there is no air loss even when a C-clamp has the tyre totally compressed. The side walls are touching and the bead lock is completely exposed! Try this with your tubeless system!
Sealant Benefits: No need to worry about the dreaded pinch flat and possibly never have another puncture flat again. Have the ability to use lightweight tyres and not be limited to buying expensive and much heavier tubeless specific tyres. Seals punctures and slows leaks that occur in most tubeless tyres. As a result, your tubeless tyres will hold air for longer periods of time. Lasts from three weeks up to three months. At that time you simply add more. (Time will vary due to different tyre characteristics). Once you seal your tyres they will not lose air pressure. What happens if I get a flat on the trail? The sealant does not use any glue or adhesive, so you can change a flat the same way you do now.
Technical Information: You can lose anywhere from 100 grams up to 400 grams of rotating weight per wheel set. This System does not require any modifications to your existing wheel set. If you are not satisfied with it, all you do is remove the rim strip, and put your old heavy tube back in and go riding. This System requires very little mechanical ability to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joeb8866 Best 50 quid I've spent on my bike!
When I opened the kit I was positive it wasn't going to work on my wheels as I was using a 26er kit on a 27.5 but tried anyway as a bloke at chain reaction said it would be ok! Took just over an hour from start to finish, used my wheels original rim tape and it worked first time no leaks. Would definately recommend using a compressor though!! Watch the videos on YouTube first makes life so much easier !

Rated 4 out of 5 by Voxo Expensive but does the job.
Installed on Conti Ruber queens 2.2 and Mavic Crossride 2013 with no major difficulty, had to use the Stans rim tape other than that it blew up first try with a track pump, holds pressure well, u might want to but in slighlty more sealant fluid than they recommend, maybe half a cup extra.

If you're having problems getting the tyre bead to seat on the rim a great tip is to use neat washing up liquid instead of diluted. Once I got set up no punctures so all good!

Bought this after reading many reviews. Fitted my Mavic Crossride no trouble. First wheel was difficult to seal (learning the procedure) Second wheel done in just a few mins. I used a compresser in order to inflate. Get loads of soap on and its no problem bit like fitting a car tyre!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Useless with mavic xm317 / High Rollers
Spent two frustrating evenings trying to get this kit work with the xm317 rims and wire high rollers. Followed instructions to the letter. Tried all the tricks, inc leaving tyres inflated with a tube for a day. Even made a ghetto inflater with coke bottle. Never even close to sealing.
Guess I'll be sticking with tubes for the moment. €60 down the drain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Hands down, best bike improvement
Wouldn't even write a review seeing as others already rate this 5 stars. It's pretty simple - best bike upgrade ever. Simple to install, there is an awesome vid on notubes.com site. It lasts for ages, didnt need to replace any of it. Even used old sealant when tyre was finished - terrific.
Had a slight 10mm gash to my rear tyre from a 3 foot drop on a hardtail - it sill sealed it!!! Wheel needing truing other matter tho :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Fantastic, once set up
This product is amazing, since putting (the DH version) on my freeride bike I have not had a single flat. This despite riding DH, big drops and lots of VERY rocky trails. I even dented my new (Mavic EX729) rim on a rock and the tyre STILL didn't go flat. The worst that's happened is that I lost a bit of pressure a couple of times. Once when I hit a big rock and dented my rim and another time bottoming the bike out when I overshot a big table top and landed to flat from 2m up. Tyres were stil ridable just a little softer, when I got back and used a track pump with a guage I found that I'd lost about 15 psi.
My only grumble is that it was a bit of a job getting the tyres (Conti Diesel 2.5s) to lock into the rims (Mavic EX 729s) and then get the whole thing pumped up. Managed it in the end but it took a few attempts and a second person. The next day someone passed on a tip which I'll use next time which is to turn the tyres inside out the day before you fit them to help force the beads apart, this will help in getting the initial seal needed to inflate the tyre. After all this faff though I'm not keen to change the tyres often. So if you like changing tyres frequently then it's probably not worth it.
All in all though, this is something I'm going to use on my other bike next time I change the tyres, can now ride over thorns and rocky trails and not worry about flats, amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Me, tyres, tubes and rims don't get along. Since inner tubes vs low pressures don't match I decided to go for tubeless. Bought this kit and converted my front wheel (ZTR Arch+RR Evo non UST). Instructions are very detailed and I got it right with a floor pump. Only tip missing when you are having problems inflating is: compress the tyre with your hand on top of the valve. It will help inflating. I hope the sealant does the job.
