To start, the guy above saying the rims are terrible obviously has a crap wheel builder.
i have built wheels with these rims many times. for myself and for others.
im currently running 33's on my dirt jump/street bike. this bike has had a lot of abuse, casing walls and coping's on ramps, not once knocking the wheel out of true.
after 3+ years of riding i finally managed to make the rear wheel fail (due to snapped spokes) after riding the wheel with missing spokes on a ride. (didn't have tools or spares to hand)
the rim itself was most likely rebuildable, but didn't due to reliability.
i have a set of these 31's on my all mountain/free ride bikewhich i am yet to re true (after 8+ months of sideways landings and abuse)
i highly recommend the mtx's in any size (just make sure the wheel builder knows what he's doing :))
