This unique assembly compound is composed in such a way that high-quality carbon, aluminium and steel parts like seat post, pedals and handlebar stem can be assembled without difficulty. The adhesive effect reduces the tightening moment by 30%, minimizing damage. The new and improved formula minimizes scratches, for example when adjusting a carbon seat post. Assembly compound also stops parts distorting or loosening and ensures perfect corrosion protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Exelent hold This carbon compound creates a high amount of friction so its very good to use a bit on your seatpost. 29 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Easy to use. Exactly as described. Would recommend for anyone assembling carbon. 20 June 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carbon parts= this stuff A must have for carbon parts. It's pretty amazing stuff when you get into the technical stuff about what this product actually does. I was trying to find a substitute/home remedy for this stuff because I didn't want to fork out that much for it but then when I bought it I realalised that it would be very hard to replicate without damaging carbon with grease and what not 19 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential for carbon assembly What can you say its a carbon compound which you must use to assemble carbon accessories to a carbon bike, good sized tube small amount goes a long way, plenty to share with your mates. 27 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential This product is essential if you have carbon components on your bike. Whatever you do don't grease them! 26 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by GRASA PARA CARBONO Se me quito el ruido de sillin limpiando y hechando esta grasa de buena calidad. 03 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Grease for Carbon This is a great product if you have lots of carbon bits. It's unwise to use grease on carbon fibre as it can be absorbed which weakens components. This TCAC doesn't get absorbed by carbon, it keeps things moving as they should, or even aids grip i.e. seat posts etc. If you have carbon, you really should be using TCAC, or a similar product. 22 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by necessary Don't assemble a carbon frame without this product (or stem, handlebar, seatpost, etc). Used it also under clamps (shifters, levers) on bars. Also for front mech. It doesn't need much so the tube is actually good value. 19 December 2013

Answer:
Yes it would. Make sure the inside of your seat tube and your seat post are spotlessly clean, apply a little TACX to the post and slide it into the seat tube. You'll also be able to reduce the torque applied to the seat post clamp bolt as this stuff helps grip.

Answer:
I have used this product on my seat post ,the seat post and bike is carbon and it works.

Carbon seat posts will slip down because they have a clear coat layer on the outside. This leads to most people( who don't know about carbon) tightening the seat post bolt more, thereby increasing the probability of cracking the seat post make sure your NOT riding the bike when it happens.USE the paste and a torque wrench to about 4nm which is what i did.

Answer:
Yes, it will. I had the same problem. Just put some paste on the seat post before inserting it in frame, tighten the seat clamp and you should be fine.

Answer:
Product is for carbon to carbon or carbon to alluminium, steel (seatpost etc). You don't specify what pedals? If they are the Ultegra Carbon only the pedal body is made from carbon, not the shaft. Are the crank arms alloy or carbon? Even a carbon crank will have an alloy thread insert.

No. Use this for any carbon-to-carbon interface (usually seat post). i also use it for the mtg levers to carbon handlebars on my XC bike.
