These revolutionary new rollers by Tacx move with the rider. He can make sprints, stretch his legs and stand on the pedals without having to be afraid to fall. He can move more freely, because training on the Galaxia approaches the natural feeling of the road. Thanks to the kinetic energy that is created during accelerating, the trainer moves forward. When slowing down, the trainer moves backward again. This invention is so unique that is has been patented by Tacx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sludgy65 Wow, these are good !!
I was a little apprehensive when I ordered these, having never used rollers before. First off they take a little getting use to. The smoother you pedal, the easier it is to get use to the slightly odd sensation of moving around on the rollers. However, once you've been on them for a while and actually relaxed a little, these are incredible. There's plenty of resistance for someone like myself. You can never totally relax, which for me is a good thing, as it stops boredom from creeping in. Set these up in fornt of your computer / TV and away you go. Build quality seems very good, and theres only a slight humming as you pedal away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Having never used a set of rollers, I was more than a little nervous the first time I hopped up onto the Galaxia, but my fears were entirely unfounded. I put it up against a wall in case I needed a balance aid, but barely used that fall-back. Within five minutes I felt confident enough to put the clips on, and within 20 mins was spinning up to 50kph. There is something organic about the ride, the unit moving with you, and the curve of the rollers guiding your bike to true, even when you buck it strongly from left to right. The only concern is that with so much flex, the rollers can start to unscrew a little. The only thing holding the whole thing together are three allen key bolts on each side (going into the centre of each roller), and after half an hour I found that they had all unscrewed a few turns and had to be tightened again. Worth keeping an eye on, as snapping a bolt while it's in a roller would be costly. Will have to see how it holds up over time. For ride and confidence though, a superb product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Purchased these Rollers online and item arrived from UK to Australia well inside 2 weeks. For some reason the instructions show that the rubber drive belt should be placed around the rear roller, however this is incorrect. It should be placed between the front and the middle rollers. No real dramas here and the unit was fully assembled in a short time.
When you first attempt to mount your bike on top of these rollers you will feel as if you are riding a small pony. Once you build your confidence up (after a few slips), you'll feel as if your good enough to tackle a one-pedal unicycle.
These rollers are just great and really smooth. After a few rides I re-inflated my types and was impressed how much of a difference this made. Your speed and effeciency will increase in a few days and you'll feel better for making the purchase in the first place.
Highly recommended. Thanks Tacx and Reaction Cycles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent, quiet and smooth
Never had a set of rollers before, but these have been great. Easy to set up, straight out of the box. Really great fun to ride, and takes more concentration than the turbo trainer. These rollers have rockers that move when you stand up and change position. I am really pleased with them, no faults at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Good stuff!
My brand spanking set of rollers arrived in less than a week since i ordered them. Really impressed with the service. I got to assembling them immediately and got them running in no time. They run smooth and quiet except when I"m riding between 32-38km/h when the back wheel starts to rattle. Outside this zone, they run quiet. I tried placing an exercise mat underneath which seemed to solve the problem but it made the rockers sticky. Great product on the whole though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous The best alternative to going out in the cold, wind & rain!
I think like most prospective users of roller trainers, I climbed onto my bike with a fair amount of trepidation before using this trainer the first time! But, it really only takes about 15-20 mins to get used to cycling on it and once you're confident you can really maintain a good cadence and start a proper workout.
Unlike other trainers, the T1100 has a nifty feature that allows it to creep forward or backward a little to counteract the inertia of the bike moving quicker or slower and also features a belt-drive from the inside rear-roller to the front.
The build quality is excellent and it's simple to set up. After a workout it packs away nicely and it is only a matter of seconds to set up again. After an hour on this trainer I was belting out a fierce rhythm and sweating like a mad dog! :D
Definitely consider spending the little extra for the T1100 - it really is a fantastic alternative to riding in "classic" UK weather! A few extras worth considering are the non-slip mat and sweat shield for your bar and top tube. Well done, Tacx.
