Tacx Jockey Wheels

The Tacx Jockey Wheels , are a must-have derailleurs spares for riders who want to push to the limit, such as Fränk Schleck during the prologue to the Tour of California 2009. Tacx jockey wheels are amongst the best in the market. They are unique thanks to the choice of materials used and their composition. The very smooth running jockey wheels by Tacx are manufactured from a resin composite that is very resistant to wear and equipped with quality precision bearings. Thanks to the closed bearings they will not get stuck, show play or squeak. For extreme circumstances, such as in mountain biking or cyclo-cross, we have jockey wheels equipped with stainless steel bearings. The wheels with ceramic bearings, for minimal resistance and high performance, are very exclusive. They're a must have for all cyclists who want to push their limits!

Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by didn't fit my X9 rear I have the SRAM X9 rear mech bought in 2009/10 on a Scott. Only one wheel fit the mech, the top was no good. the holds to fit were not far apart enough. Bottom was OK. 14 February 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Upper one seized solid after just 4 months, even with thorough cleaning, degreasing and flushing with GT85 to displace water after each ride. Terrible. Bottom one is still ok, although not as smooth as others I've had in the past. 27 January 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lower pulley seized up after one ride, admittedly muddy. The advice seems to be that if you must buy these, prise off the seals, flush out the stock grease and replace with your own waterproof grease, then they should last a bit longer. Very poor vfm - these Tacx T4000 cost much the same as BBB ones with ceramic bearings! Unfortunately CR don't stock BBB. 20 December 2012
