This model is 730mm wide and offers 12mm (1/2 inch) of rise together with a 6° backsweep and 4° upsweep. Built for strength with enough flex built in for all day comfort. Strong enough for All Mountain/Freeride, light enough for racing.
Bars are made with three different fiber types with different tensile strength and tensile modulus, including High Strength carbon fibers. This helps to allocate stiffness and flex where needed.
Bars are molded with an EPS mandrel inside to avoid wrinkles inside the layup during molding. Most other bars are molded over inflated nylon bladders.
All carbon fiber material is produced by Toray and uses tailor made nano Epoxy Resin for very high impact resistance. Toray is the main supplier of carbon fiber to Boeing and Airbus.
1.5K woven impact ends help prevent damage to uni directional fibers from shortening the bar or impact with the ground.
Light weight, precision tolerance clamp sections. Certified to EN, tested to DIN .
The best bar for your Thomson X4 stem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by theuncharmed Gorgeous and comfortable bar. Thomson reliability too
Honestly? Well I bought this bar because it was Thomson. I've used their stems for years and I was pretty excited that they were launching bars.
And whilst I'm a 'fan-boi', their reputation is well deserved and in the 2 years that I've had this bar (in fact I have two), I've not had a single complaint to make. In fact, it's possibly one of the most comfortable bars I've used. It's the right layback and up-sweep and the carbon bar (my first) helps take out vibrations from the trail on my rigid single-speed. I also appreciate that it's not that easy to scratch and the grips, brakes etc. all slide on easily enough.
This is now my de-facto go-to bar and I have them on both of my bikes and will buy again for my next bike too.

Fitted on to a X4 stem, pretty solid feeling, comfortable rise XC riders. Good length for stability for small built riders. Not the lightest bar around but does serve its purpose for stability really well

Brilliant set of bars, great quailty as you would expect from thomson, strong and flexable too, I have been using them for about 4 months now and not had a problem, just make sure you have a torgue wrench handy when you fit them !

Rated 5 out of 5 by tobi Excellent bar
I have it for 1 year now.
Did quite some aggressive riding on it with rocks, roots, stairs, etc.
- proportions, width, angles, rise and sweep are just perfect!
- There are no other bars curved as elegant and subtle as this.
- Nice minimal decals.
- Perfectly matches the X4 stem
- Super light (200gr, weighed myself)
- Still super stiff for such a light 730mm bar
- A bit too shiny and the carbon threads are so small, its hard to tell its carbon.
- Always out of stock! Had to wait 2 month for it after it just came out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yetifan28 Exactly what i was looking for.
Nice bit of Thomson bling to go with the stem and seatpost.
At first I though I might need to cut them down but with a 50mm stem it's a perfect width for me on a medium Yeti SB66.
The rise and sweep are exactly what I was looking for.
The quality is excellent as would be expected from Thomson, also included was a sachet of paste (finish line) to apply before clamping on carbon.
The weave is very subtly and the bar ends are reinforced with lines for cutting down.

Excellent carbon bar. Stiff, absorb vibration and feel confident in high speed. Though I prefer matt carbon, the glossy black looks good on my carbon frame as well. Highly recommended!
