Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad design. Not fit for purpose At first glance this is a useful item for fitting Topeak wedge bags to multiple bikes. BUT, the position of the bracket below the saddle means it's going to get wet and dirty and invariably the bolt will stick. And then one day you're going to want to remove it for whatever reason. And that's where your problems start. It would be fine if the nut was held rigidly...but it isn't. The nut fits into a hexagonal recess in the plastic, which can't hope to hold firm whenever any torque is put on it, and so the plastic shears and the bolt just spins and cannot be removed. So how do you get it off? Removing saddle from seatpost and carefully cutting through the plastic with a hacksaw was my solution! And then the bracket went in the bin. I've owned two of these brackets for two of my bikes. Both have jammed and sheared. This is basically a bad design and not fit for purpose. You can't hold a nut with a bit of soft plastic! Unfortunately you won't find this out until you come to remove it after a few months bad weather riding. It also makes the bag useless too (as there's no other way of fitting it to the bike without one of these brackets) 13 October 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Racing Saddle Solution Well made and pretty strong for all plastic it dies the job on some but not all racing saddles where the rails are too close for the standard Topeak attachment plate. Again, pretty expensive for just a bit of plastic, but I could not find anything else to do the job. Does not mark the rails due to plastic construction, but likewise still moves a little as cannot be clamped rigid. Easy to fit, but if saddle drops at the rear you may find it hard to get the saddlebag on or off the clip. 27 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it says on the tin Not much to say other than this bracket does exactly what you need it to do. Keeps your Topeak saddlebag in place and attached firmly to the rear of the saddle 05 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap way to double-up If you have two bikes, then an extra bracket is a great way to use the same Topeak wedge-bag on both without the hassle of having to undo the fitting each time. For the money, it helps you double-up, bringing increased versatility. No brainer, really. As with most things in this brand, it's well made, easy to fit and long-lasting. 25 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good direct replacement I purchased the Pro pack saddle bag and brought this to change between two bikes. It's a direct comparison with the one that came with the bag. My only gripe is the price, not expensive i know, but a third of the cost of the item i brought. If i had a spare everything i put into the bag i would have just brought another bag. It does do what it should and i am happy to have a genuine clip rather than a cheap make do copy though. 30 January 2014

I've recently bought a new road bike, and I would like to simply buy a new bracket - it will allow me to just switch my saddlebag between bikes (as it carries my tool and lock keys: not something I want to be transferring from one bag to another).

Will this bracket fit the Topeak Aero Wedge (mini), clip-on bag? I can't seem to find any notes on compatibility.

Answer:
From my understanding it should fit all Topeak bags. I had an old version and this also fitted that. Not sure what model it was though. This is also the only additional clip available, so it figures universal fitting for all bags, which does make sense.

Answer:
The bracket will fit all the Topeak clip on bags. I would recommend loosening and greasing it every couple of weeks though as the bolt jams and once it's jammed then (as the nut is held by soft plastic) it will shear and you'll never be able to remove the bracket! I've been through two of these F25 brackets. They are bad design unfortunately. Best of luck.
