I use this with my road bike as well as my hybrid. Works well on both. It's sturdier than it looks and I think as long as you're not a pro bike mechanic and just need it for little tuneups. It's great.

This could be a great little stand. It's an innovative product. It's very compact, a little tricky to set up, but once you've learnt the technique, it's no problem. Only problem is, it breaks so easily! Mine broke at the plastic hinge! I won't be replacing it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous smart design and really useful but such a "tool" should be definitely stronger. I'm just waiting the day that I will hear the "crack"..
ATTN! it is only for 26in (not 29er) frame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous The idea is great - a compact, portable, lightweight, folding stand to get the back wheel off the ground. The reality though is not so great. The rubber lugs that are supposed to support the bottom bracket fell off nearly every time I took the bike off the stand (I tried both sizes and the same thing kept happening, even though I took care to fit the lugs correctly). Then 7 months after purchase, in the cold weather at the weekend, when I put the bike on the stand one of the black support legs snapped at the hinge! Apparently not suitable for use in sub-zero temperatures then. They seem to be made of quite weak aluminium, which is thin at some points (such as the hinge). My bike is an aluminium hybrid, not particularly heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous For basic work on your bike e.g adjusting gears, rear brakes, working on chaindrive etc this is a great buy! I have worked on my 4 bikes...racer, hybred, tourer and my anti-theft piece of iron and it works great with all of them.
Not for the professional bike mechanic....but for the 90% of cyclists that want to carry out the odd adjustment this is the business.
Not too stable, but once you have it on flat ground it works a treat.
It'll repay the price if you only use it once!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous This is an excellent stand for doing routing maintenance. I was a bit puzzled at first how this was going to support the bike but it does and excellent job. Makes working on the bike and making adjustments a lot easier.
