Rated 2 out of 5 by Ben50 didnt fit me
I ordered the small as per the sizing chart even though I'm 5'11".
they fitted around my calf fine but were loose around my thigh so I send them back.
Nice idea but not enough engineering put in. they need a strap on top as per 661 to fit everyone

Une protection optimal, un style sans égal, à un prix vraiment attractif, je recommande sans hésitation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deckles1 Comfortable but slips if you crash
I've had my knee shin pads for about 6 months. Worn them about 10 times. Out of those ten times I've crashed on three of them. All three times the pad slipped down which ended up only tearing up my skin above my knee. They stay on really tight on the calf but not on my thigh. These are good shin pads but not so much knee. I have many marks on or around both knees. Your better of getting the t-bone TLD pads or the Rage 661 pads.
Only buy if your a massive TLD fan and you want a knee shin pad that looks really cool.

Le ginocchiere sono molto confortevoli, non si muovono, sono leggere e molto protettive su tibbia e rotula.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Peted Lightweight. Good quality. Not for heavy duty use
Sizing is spot on using the troy lee website.
Quality is good. Look robust and well made.
Function - stay up even without straps.Low profile could wear under jeans.
Protection - pretty good up front. Offers good knee cap and upper shin protection. Zero side protection though which for me was a deal breaker as I like to lean on my frame on tight turns.
Overall I'd say these are lightweight, trail XC pads. Dont buy if your looking for better over all protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dobbo A step up from the 5400
These knee/shin guards are extremely lighweight and fit me really well. It's not worth going for the 5400 knee guards on price-points as the extra shin protection does prevent the brambles and twigs from thrapping your shins.
Not even close when compared to the TBones that Troy Lee are so well known for in terms of cushioning and all-round protection but a great summer knee guard for the non-technical trails.
The quality and fit are high standard but they didn't quite offer the amount of protection I was looking for in a knee pad for thrashing D/H, putting them a little higher than their competitors on the price scale. I do get a fair amount of usage out of mine on practice runs and training on the uphill sections as they are much lighter than Tbones but it's a horses for courses choice based on how much protection you need.
I'm a Large in the Tbones and bought a Medium in the Shock Drs based on my Troy Lee 7855-hw being highly elastic and wasn't dissapointed.
