All our World Cup DH racers said the same thing: Make it wider. The BooBar, available with an 780mm width, grants that wish.
World Cup downhill courses never get easier. They get harder. Bigger drops, nastier rocks, more vertical terrain. Always looking for an edge, our pros asked us to make a bar that’s stiff, precise and super-wide—and still pretty light.
The BooBar, made with tough 7050 alloy and available in widths of 740mm or 780mm, is the answer. With a race-proven shape including a 7-degree back-sweep and 5-degree up-sweep, and weighing just 270 grams, the BooBar gives the pros—and you—the confidence to push the envelope just a little bit further.
• Material: Butted AL-7050 TV • Weight: 340g • Width: 780mm • Compatibility: Freeride, Downhill, All Mountain • Finish: Tungsten Grey, Blast Black Anodized

I'd been looking for some bars for a while and ended up going with these which was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. They're strong, light, good looking, and work brilliantly with the Truvativ Holzfeller stem.
I've only used them for DJ/Park but they have been excellent, not to mention they're from one of the most trusted brands in the sport; Truvativ.
My only complaint would be that the paint scratched fairly easily when putting them on but other than that they are as the title says.
I'll definitely be getting some for a DH bike!

Overall good handlebar, got 780 mm wide (I have long arms but not too wide shoulders) with 40 mm Truvativ Hussefelt stem.
A bit scratchy paint - got couple of scratches when installing stem and derailleurs.
But overall great experience comparing to 635 mm Easton EA30 handlebar and 100 mm Easton stem. Very comfortable and positive in handling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arib Great bar!
The Truvativ BooBar is a stiff DH ready bar featured on many pro DH bikes. Unsurprisingly, it's stiff and wide. I've read reviews that stated that the bar cannot be shortened due to the tapering starting very early, but I've not found that to be the case, I could easily run it 40mm shorter. However at 780 mm it fits my 6'3 frame very well and the back- and upsweep feel perfect. The tungsten colour does look a bit different than the pictures provided (the finish is darker) but still won't clash with many builds. Highly recommended.

Si te gusta ir con los mandos alejados ( maneta de freno y cambios) solo tienes 193 mm en cada lado para repartirlos junto con las empuñaduras.

this is simply the best bar i have ever ridden, as soon as you set up the right pitch in your stem this bar enables you to control your bike well on any trail type, works well in the rough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous This bar is so strong and stiff it's unreal. I have a tendency to crash incredibly hard but these bars stay straight, they just dont bend... Incredible control from the get go, I came from 740mm bars and the added control transformed my entire bike.
Oh yeah, like others already mentioned, don't cut these bars. Your brakelevers and shifters won't fit anymore.

Very nice bar, good shape and the 780 is nice, may be to long for some but they can be cut down, beware that they are rather fat fron the center point out so you can only cut a little bit off before you are unable to fit the brakes ect on think you get them to 750mm. But be brave keep them long and live the dream. Also very light for such a big bar.

These bars have around 175mm of clamping area (for grips, lever mounts etc) on each side. Grips typicaly occupy around 110mm, and lever clamps are around 10-15mm, so you could likely take around 50mm off each side, bringing the bar down to 680mm or so.
