Rated 5 out of 5 by For the money you can't go wrong Bought this for a new build as at the time cash did not stretch far enough for a dropper post. I have used it for the last few months with no issue, the saddle clamped in tightly and has remained so. The nice black finish is holding up as well as can be expected after being slid in and out of the seat tube, not wearing any worse than more expensive posts I have used anyway. It's now surplus to requirements as I have now bought another dropper. But will keep it should I need to send it in for service etc. 21 May 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by sencilla y correcta, nada de filigranas Tija sencilla y efectiva, no es la mas ligera del mercado, pero cumple su funcion de sobra 13 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by pretico, solido canotto sella montato su bici da downhill è leggero ma robusto , l'inclinazione della sella è facile e pratica. 17 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Strong no nonsense, on offer at under £15 makes it a great value option. When weight is not an issue this seat post is a great deal at the £14.99 offer price. It is a simple and sturdy item. Adjustment is easily variable and micro adjustable, the finish is OK in a semi-gloss speckled black (like a a fine "Hammerite"). I cut mine down to 320 mm to suit a Stumpjumper frame with limited drop capacity, the weight was 303g compared to the original one at 243g. Bearing in mind the original post on the bike has failed hence the need for a replacement, draw your own conclusions regarding weight versus durability. 23 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top value I really can't understand why people are giving this post only 2 stars, ok so maybe there's been an error with the product descriptions but this thing is hardly that heavy. I fitted mine today and even uncut at the full 400mm it was noticably lighter in the hand than an Easton EA30 cut down to 275mm, now that I've cut the T20 it's lighter still. It's also very well finished, has sturdy big 6mm bolts that are easily accessable, easy to adjust and feels good under the saddle. And I've used a swoopy FSA carbon post on a previous frame so I do have a reference point. 31 October 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK simple bit of kit - not one piece (looks like its bonded post to seat clamp) - not weighed but is quite heavy in hand - but overall happy with it 10 June 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Heavy I ordered it because it seemed resonably light for the price. The 27.2 x 400 mm I ordered weighed 390 g, which is far from the 270 g (avg.) that Truvativ states. I realise that my model might be one of the heaviest, but if the range is so large I think it should be noted in the description. 20 March 2012
