Urge All-Mountain Helmet

As its name suggests, this helmet is designed for… well, All-Mountain riding. For this, it combines the advanced protection of an enduro helmet with the efficient air venting closed to a XC helmet. These vents being very large to optimize air circulation, the general structure of the helmet has been reinforced with alloy tubes in order to pass the high security and homologation tests. The design is 100% brand new in fineness and details: we can all recognize this is an Urge helmet from every angle. The “Urge” look of the All-M brings a new standard of balance, fluidness and dynamism in a restrained volume. Flexible and superlight visor, “Gangsta pad” front pad to absorb sweat, the Urge Bikeproducts trademarks, are all here.

Our legendary comfort is also present and the ultra easy strap system crossed on the back of the neck offers a support as good as other “concepts” without adding extra weight or potential mechanical problems. The lightness of this model (300g), its innovative look, its crisp details and its superior safety features, make of the All-M the helmet your head will want! The All-M is the newest addition to the Urge Bikeproducts range. Fitted for real All-Moutain riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Comforable lid ive had a few other helmets in the past but this one is by far the best. comfortable to wear, light weight and looks good too. it has comfortable strap system and good vents and handy sweat absorbing padding. its slightly expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for. 15 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good looking lid, very comfy, probably got lucky on sizing. Picked this lid up on sale for $102 delivered to Australia, which is pretty good value. Only been on one ride but it's light, comfortable, ventilation is excellent, and unlike most helmets, I don't mind the look of this when fitted. I've got a 59cm head circumference, the L/XL fits perfectly once I swapped to the thinner pads. If you've got 60cm+ head then I doubt this lid will fit you, but I guess it depends on your head shape. There is no retention system like you'll find on the Giro, 661 helmets I've previously owned, but the crossover straps work well. Coverage is good, as much as my old 661 stealth, and better than the Giro Xen. 24 October 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking helmet; superb customised fitting with two sets of pads I got the L/XL size which in the sizing chart is stated as 58cm/60cm. However, the sticker label on the inside of the helmet states 57-59cm (see photo). It's no wonder that those who are 59cm and above would find this helmet's sizing unsuitable. In my case, I'm 58.5cm and the thinner set of pads that I had to change to are just perfect! It came factory fitted with the thicker set of pads and it was way too tight for me (I'm assuming they're for 57cm heads because the thickness of the front and rear pads are between 4-5mm each). The trick is to play around with the pads to find the ideal thickness size first and then adjust the pads' position on the round Velcro fastener tabs. How the pads sit affect the comfort level. You could also mix a thicker pad at the back and a thinner pad in front or vice versa if that's what your head demands. The end result is a perfect fit without the need for awkward adjustable retention systems. The cross straps at the back of the head also ensure the helmet stays level on your head. Adjustments to the straps can be made without the need to remove the helmet. A simple yet excellent system! 15 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent stuff! I bought this skid lid after I had a nasty incident with my last one, and right from the start I knew I wanted something light and comfortable. Price was a variable I was willing to negate, (you've only got one head, can't put a price on that!) and breatheability is pretty handy to have when you have something strapped to your noggin for hours at a time. Well. I'd never tried Urge before, but I certainly will be using them again! The thing is a masterpiece. Incredibly light, strong and very well built; check one from the list. I've got quite a big head, so the L/XL size with the thicker set of padding provided is perfect for me and my cranium-generous brethren, incredibly comfortable fit, and nothing is ever too tight - the rear crossover straps are weird to look at, but instantly familiar to wear; check two. There are more holes in this helmet than a colander, and airflow has a very nice way of cooling my head, no-matter what speed I ride at; check three. And as for price, I was originally going to by this when it was £69.99, then I held off for a week. The next time I looked, (when I had been paid) It had dropped another £14. That's 45% off the original price of a hundred quid. All because there's a new one with a 2014 sticker on it. Bargain! If you're serious about lightweight, quality head protection, these guys know what they're talking about. Oh and the 1st class UK delivery is pretty excellent too. Two thumbs up out of two! 10 October 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by You got the URGE?!?!? By far the best helmet for non racing offroad, Its light compared to similar style helmets i have owned and fit is perfect. I have a fat 59cm head and L/XL fitted just perfect. Venting is great, padding adiquite (includes spares) and a sticker sheet too! With out a doubt i will be looking for this brand if ever i need to replace this skid lid 09 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very airy, very light I've had 3 helmets before this, a Limar, and 2 Fox helmets. None of them are as well ventilated as these. They have circular vents on the side which (if you know your Physics) acts as a Venturi to draw warmer air inside your helmet outwards! I was quite skeptical but after pinning some descents on local trails, I really felt the air flow inside the helmet. Fit is better than a fox helmet, I too have a slightly odd-shaped head, I have a flat back and a flatter than normal top but this fits perfect; I don't have a square head just something not very round! Strapping system is simple too. The Helmet visor seems pretty bendy and would probably snap off real quick in a crash but hey, most visors would anyway! This one is definitely a keeper. 12 August 2013

Answer:
Helmets are only certified for the country where they are being sold.

All our helmets are European CE1078 Certified; but may also pass certification on other Continents. However; they only come with a certification sticker for Europe.
