Urge Down-O-Matic Brat Helmet

Its sleek shape, lightweight, and pure design are reminiscent of the Endur-o-matic. The big grid equipped vents at the front are round in order to allow a maximum amount of fresh air to the pilot. Proportions, visibility, and protection are optimal. The composite fiber construction allows an unmatched weight to protection ratio.

The interior is super comfortable and soft and the pads are removable and washable. As featured on its little brother, the ABS visor is super light and vented. The helmet is lighter as a result and it also helps prevent injuries in the event of a crash. Its unique design channels into the vents. Every feature on the Down-o-matic has been tailored for maximum performance while riding a bicycle.

Around the world or at your local trails, the Down-o-matic allows you to bring style and optimal security to your adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by What a beaut Really good fitting helmet, I went for this puppy after smashing my MMCs version up in a crash. It cleans up quickly and dries in no time. I usually dunk it in a bucket or wear it in the shower and then fire a old of shampoo over it and rinse off. Lightweight compared to others and allows a good airflow throughout. Chin guard has saved me a couple of times and I wouldn't ride DH without one. Defo my fave helmet so far ;) 14 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fit, adjustabilty, excellent weight, good value, distinct looks My first Full Face helmet! Fits my 56cm head well. Can be adjusted for smaller heads with included extra pads. Weight is excellent for a glass fibre helmet: 1006 grs in size s/m Okay build quality, good overall value for money I like the looks of this helmet, that's a personal thing. Comes with a bag, nice. Beware: Small face opening. Will not take bigger goggles. Oakley Proven MX fits. 08 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super light, Great fit! This helmet is really light and built really well. Was worried at first spending £95 on a helmet considering this is my first full face however I have not been disappointed. I chose to go for the S/M size as I have a 58cm head and it fits perfectly, the extra padding supplied is really easy to swap round and just adds to the comfort/ease of washing sweaty pads. I read a lot of reviews and lots of people had problems fitting goggles to the helmet due to the smaller opening. I bought this with Oakley E-frame goggles and they fit perfectly. Didn't give a perfect score as this is my first full face so I have nothing to compare to. 08 January 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Шлем достойный внимания Отличная продуваемость, отличный дизайн - смотрится очень брутально. Крутой шлем + сменные внутренности :) 27 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks great and fits brilliant. Decided I would try one of these after THE one got a bit worse for ware. It's safe to say this product has really impressed me after one ride. The vent system works well providing enough movement of cool air. I was worried the fit may be off due to their only being two sizes but they come with two padding kits to fine tune the fit to your head. 13 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sizing no problem! I have read al the stuff about Urge helmets and their so called small sizes. Well - a helmet should feel a bit snug. Soo having a circumfernce of 57 cm on my skull I had a puzzle. Should I go for the L/XL or the Small/Medium? Well 57 cm is 57 cm so I went for the Small/medium, according to the size chart. The helmet has extra padding to adjust the size (to smaller sizes). From my MX racing bro´s I got some advice on how much the helmet should be allowed to move on the skull (almost nothing) so I ended up having al the padding (downsizing it to 54 cm) on my 57 cm skull and now it fits perfectly and it does not twist .....soo I dont thinkt this helmet has any odd size at al. At least not to the smaller side of it. If I adjust to 57 cm by removing the padding it fits just like my 661 carbon helmet. I is just as light on and the looks are a killer. Go for this one if you like the stealhty understated look - but still whants something more than just a plain black helmet. 09 May 2013

Answer:
Sure, I ride DH in this and would recommend it. Really tough and light with great venting, TLD and Fox seem to whack a couple of hundred quid on top for good measure and the branding/decals. If you notice, TLD are sponsors to pretty much every pro rider out there in all mtb categories so they are a household name in the cycle world and although 90% of my gear is TLD due to quality and durability but the helmet is one area I am happy to save on when quality and durability are equivalent and I find this better vented and lighter than the TLDs as well as cheaper: bonus ;)

Yes, by using the 3M adhesive pads included with most sports cameras; the mounts can be applied/stuck to the helmet.

Answer:
It can, either pop out a couple of the meshes on the top and use a helmet mount with strap or alternatively, you can use the hole in the visor to mount and use a clamp to lock your camera above the visor or hang it underneath, just above your forehead. There are various examples around the net if you do an image search for urge downomatic helmet camera
