Its sleek shape, lightweight, and pure design are reminiscent of the Endur-o-matic. The big grid equipped vents at the front are round in order to allow a maximum amount of fresh air to the pilot. Proportions, visibility, and protection are optimal. The composite fiber construction allows an unmatched weight to protection ratio.
The interior is super comfortable and soft and the pads are removable and washable. As featured on its little brother, the ABS visor is super light and vented. The helmet is lighter as a result and it also helps prevent injuries in the event of a crash. Its unique design channels into the vents. Every feature on the Down-o-matic has been tailored for maximum performance while riding a bicycle.
Around the world or at your local trails, the Down-o-matic allows you to bring style and optimal security to your adventures.

... I think I'm in a position to comment. From those who are into the more aggressive style of riding (like me) and don't fancy getting smacked in the jaw should they come off, this is a brilliant helmet. It is light weight compared to other brands I have tried and fits my small head really well. Extra pads are included to swap around between Small/Med or Lge/XLge with forgiving ranges covered and the size guide is bang on (I know 2 other people with DownOMatics that would vouch for good sizing).
I ran it in the shower with some shampoo to clean it a couple of times and it doesn't take long to dry.
I have had a few whacks and scrapes in this helmet and my jaw/cheek remains unscathed after the crank hit me at the side of the head a few weeks ago resulting in a bit of paint being scratched and nothing more.
I wouldn't mark it down on this point; the heat factor is as expected with full face but you do get some decent air running through it as you ride.
Although the Enduro version of the full face helmets looked more appealing in terms of air circulation I have seen it fold back in on itself under duress and didn't fancy a Chelsea Smile so this had the extra safety I was after in face-on collision protection.
