Rated 2 out of 5 by Samorro

Rated 4 out of 5 by herefourtheride Nice lightweight helmet
However ... if your head is around 60cm circumference then it wont fit. Agree with the other reviewers that the ratchet on the back is a little too fiddly for my liking

Rated 2 out of 5 by VikingHead Urge Supacross RUINED by poor quality/badly designed occipital straps
Had tried on the other Urge helmets which I loved style-wise, but found that although they were very comfortable, the lack of any kind of retaining strap meant that they moved around a little too much for my liking, no matter how many ways I adjusted the chin straps/ pad thickness etc.
My hopes were up when I saw that the new Urge Supacross Helmet 2014 had introduced occipital straps - at last, I thought, I can wear an Urge helmet after all...
What a disappointment when they arrived... Great style and finish, comfortable pads as you would expect - BUT the occipital straps looked like they'd been made of the cheapest/ most uncomfortable hard plastic available, with a small wheel which would either break or slice into your finger if you had to adjust it more than a couple of times...WHY??
I had also ordered a IXS RS Trail helmet to try - although for my money, not as stylish as the Urge, the retaining straps were made of plastic covered by a silicon rubber material for comfort, they also had a large silicon coated adjustment wheel which is a joy to adjust and feels more robust AS WELL AS a pad covering the rear of the strap. If only I could've inserted the IXS straps into the Urge it would be the perfect helmet.
For me, Urge have really screwed up what would've been a fantastic helmet.
