Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by This seatpost doesnt prove to be durable and strong My weight is 76 kg. The seatpost was installed on my training bike (rapid titanium 26 frame). Used primary for XC, no drops, freeride or downhill. After a year (approx 100 hours) of usage the crack appeared above seatclamp. The saddle lock mechanism as somebody told didnt deliver any trouble. Now in shoping for something more durable. 21 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very light and elegant, but a tricky fit This seatpost is actually one of the most affordable Ti-options worth considering on the market. It is also very elegant and looks great on a Ti frame. The third factor which made it an obvious choice for me is the option to buy an additonal clamp to make it compatible with oval rails of my Fizik Chameleon seat. I heeded the advice of the manufacturer and took a 10,4 clamp for my 9x7mm rail seat. Even so it proved a very tight fit. Tightenig the bolt was a nerve wrecking experince. I prayed the bolt wouldn't slip as I tightened it. Still I had to retighten it a few more times before it stopped loosing angle. BUT - don't get that discourage you from the purchase. Once you fit it right it is a great seatpost. It is light, holds the angle, dampens the trail buzz well and looks the part. 22 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and Strong On my first ride it went loose, i was too careful. Having bought a torque wrench a week later i realised i still did not tighten it enough. I have many rides with it (3months), I had mounted the selle italia SLR XC on it which was flexy. It did not move a single bit! Alitle care and more time to set up, maybe invest in a torque wrench all will be fine. The reviewers here said it all. 28 October 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by excelence Compared to my old alloy seatpost this is supreme! Very lightwieght, it has that spaceage feel to it! Its a very minimalist design and the seat almost looks like its just hovering above the post. It feels solid in use. Out of the saddle it has made my bike feel more balanced. It requires patience and care setting up the seat clamp. The single bolt must be tightened correctly or the saddle will slip. Only by using a torque wrench have I been able to set the seat securley. Once set it holds! It is a good idea to order spare parts with this seatpost. CRC have them at the time, of this post, they are only a couple of quid. The bolt will wear even with quality tools and care. I have replaced the bolt, which had become worn, but still just about usable, after two years use. The bolt head is soft...which I hope USE will address. The clamp mechaism itself is solid and reliable when correctly installed. On looks and performace my favorite seatpost! On maintenece, only for the dedicated! 01 September 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Compliqué ? Bonne tige même si je trouve le système de fixation compliquer et donc dur à régler. De plus il m'a fallu reprendre le serrage de la selle sur la tige 2 fois malgré un serrage au couple avec clé dynamométrique ! 27 August 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb lightweight seatpost with titanium durability I got this seatpost to take some of the sting out of an aluminium road bike. The titanium works really well. It is light, strong, and dampens road buzz much better than the aluminium post it replaced. Carbon posts work well too, but the titanium in this one does make it tough as well as light. As for the Cyclops clamp, I've had no trouble with it at all. If you follow the instructions it is straightforward to fit and it holds my particular saddle (a Charge Spoon) perfectly. The instructions recommend tightening the single clamp bolt to 3.5Nm. Here's a tip - invest in a decent torque wrench and the job is easy (your expensive carbon components will thank you too!). Dial in the torque setting, tighten the bolt and you're done. Overall, a great seatpost and thoroughly recommended. 25 January 2009
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ti is great stuff but... This is one that should have been better thought out for the cash. Hold a pencil between your thumb and 2 fingers – this is how the “Alien” clamp works*. Add this to a nice light weight saddle – and hey presto the dam thing will slip – as the saddle rails flex under load. Not a good idea. Also, supplied to fit a 5-6mm rail. Measure yours b4 buying – many light saddles use an oversize rail and will need the conversion kit [separate order]. So if your medium weight or more and own a Ti hollow railed saddle, beware. My Girlfriend is delighted with it though! *If you own one try grease the clamp thread – you will get 1/3 more force @ the same torque, (clean thread). 14 March 2008

Answer:
As the Selle Italia 'Carbonio' Flow has Oval rails; it will not fit to this seatpost; which can only fit Standard Rails.
