Our "Cyclops" single bolt clamp takes the Alien range to another level. Single, larger bolt is easy to adjust and reach. Quick to fit, with key-release system for fast micro re-position of saddle angle. Stronger than ever and now 5g lighter than the previous 2 bolt clamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid As A Rock I've owned a USE Titanium Alien seatpost for 10 years and when I built my new frame I decided to use my old post (both Reynolds tubing 631 old frame and 953 new one!). Even after 10 years hard use it's still like new. The 2 bolt old style clamp has always been a pain in the backside. Fiddly and insecure. This new 1 bolt system fits as a direct replacement and now it's much much easier to set up and the saddle is now very secure. 24 August 2010

In this day and age, it is great to be able to buy a decent spare part when something breaks rather than having to buy a new complete seat post. So well done USE for producing the spare kits and well done CRC for stocking them. Ordered on Wednedsay afternoon and on the bike by Friday morning - impressive stuff. 23 July 2010

Rated 3 out of 5 by Satisfactory- just If you've got a USE suspension post get one of these. More secure, prevents creaking and slippage as with the old style. Still fidilly. Just make sure you have the right size. Otherwise like me you'll end up sending it back to Chainreaction. Still waiting for my refund for postage as I ordered right size but received wrong size. Had me confused for a while 08 April 2010

Answer: 
The Komm-Vor saddle runs carbon rails (which are usually 8mm or 9.2mm). The best option is simply to measure the rails on your saddle and measure the clamp accordingly.

With original seat clamp (7mm) it could be working but the screw is too short.

Answer: 
The 10.4mm model clamp head should allow you to fit a saddle that has a 7mm x 10.3mm carbon rail sizes.
