Vittoria Corsa Evo CX Tubular Tyre

Corsa CX has proved successful in road races all over the world, but the new EVO version is bound to even greater success. With a “handmade” tubular structure for superior performance and comfort, it has also got a special latex inner tube that increases its elasticity and puncture resistance. Further features are the Kevlar® SiO2 3D Compound with added silica - for reduced rolling resistance and better grip in the wet Our new high density casing - a true 320 tpi - delivers unbeatable comfort and superior performance with inflation pressure of up to 200psi!

New PRB 2.0 puncture resistant belting placed underneath the tread increases the flat prevention properties of the Corsa Evo CX up to 40%, even while reducing the weight. The new Corsa Evo CX is tougher and faster than ever before.

Kevlar® SiO2 is a compound with a high silica (SiO2) content developed from Vittoria's top range of compounds. It also contains microscopic Kevlar® fibres, making it the state of the art compound for tyres with high grip even on wet roads, low rolling resistance and good duration too. Kevlar® SiO2 3D is the new reference standard for high performance tyre compounds.

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good all round tubular, performing well for me Good grip, fitted up and glued very easily and running very true. No punctures to date 09 July 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rueda bien, se agarra bien pero pinchazos los que quieras En la primera ruta después de 50 km. un corte de 2 cm. que llegó a la càmara perfectamente, resultado: explosión. No me caí de milagro. 27 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very reliable Great quality. 26 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great. Love reading guys who buy latex race tyres complaining about flats after 500kms and having to pump the tyres each day. You don't get speed without some compromise. Brilliant race day tyre. Highly recommend. 21 April 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Puncture prone Fast in every aspect including punctures. Have had four of these, like them because they say it's fast, however, I've used Conti's and they are just as quick. Flats usually starts after 500km, and if you use the sealants i.e. Vittoria's foam aerosol sealant, good luck! It seals, but leakage still occurs especially where thread meets the side wall of the tire. Can go high pressure up to 200psi, but I only do 140psi on road. Deflates quickly too as it has latex inner tube, so you gotta keep them up after a day. Not happy. 09 March 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Excellent rolling, excellent grip but have the no puncture resistance, absolutely none! Two flats within 50 km. No reliable. Absolutely horrible. The valve do not support the pressure. I started a ride with 190 lb and finished with 140. You have to inflate everyday. I had a Continental Competition thsat I rode all their life with no puncture. I came back to Conti. Vittoria never more. Much expensive to what happened. shame! 19 May 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The benchmark For me these are the benchmark against which I rate all tubulars. When I have to buy a tubular with my own money I will always buy these. I have, and currently do, race on other tubulars that I didn't pay for. They are very good but if I had to spend my own money I would always buy CX's. 05 February 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fast - hopelessly unreliable Tyres are fast and have good grip but have the puncture resistance of a balloon! I destroyed a rear in 100 kms then the front in a further 150 kms. I have done 3000 kms on a set of GP4000 with no puncture. Buy for track use only unless you have support vehicle, shame! 23 August 2011

Answer:
These tubs run a 42mm Presta valve so for a 50mm profile rim you would need to fit an extender. Shorter the better, so the 30mm Continentals below should be ok.

I would like to confirm if this is tubular instead clincher tires as there is an option for folding bead which is meant for clincher tires only.
