Rated 4 out of 5 by Archibald81 Excellent tyre for commuting
Got these as a more rugged tyre for commuting on the patchwork roads and paths of Sydney, and have not been a disappointment.
Have been doing some race training on my commutes (approx 20kms each way), so it's not like I've been soft on the tyres, either.
Of the first set, the rear did need changing at 3,663kms - could possibly have gone for longer. Only two punctures in the rear - 1 from a nasty piece of glass - possibly could have avoided it with a more robust inner tube though... and 1 was a pinch flat from hitting a pothole at over 40kmh - not many tyres (if any# could prevent that...
The front tire is still going strong at over 5,850kms - no punctures.
Never had grip issues, and that's on bitumen, concrete and paving in either the wet or the dry. #And yes, it does rain in Sydney - a lot!#
This includes plenty of bunny-hopping off gutters #bike paths to roads).
They are a harder compound than the regular Rubino, but they soften a little after a few rides, which does improve the grip.
I have no complaints, and will be using again.

I put these front and back on my bike. As a back tyre they are fine, but the front skated out from under me a couple of times

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Grip not great
Solid tyres but have had punctures with them, though don't blame the tyre for this. What I do have an issue with is grip, they slip all over the place in cold weather.
Come off the wheel easy and are good in warmer weather, so 3 stars.

These tyres roll extremely well and are a fast tyre. The sidewalls have good protection, however after only 1 month (1000 Klm) I have to replace these tyres as they are puncturing every ride. The rubber compound seems to let everything through despite the puncture protection. The front fares better than the rear.

Nothing bad to say about these!
I often prefer these to the normal Rubino's!
I'm a bicycle messenger and rarely have flats!
A lot better then any other brand in my opinion!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Comfortable , light, fast rolling, poor in wet, tyre blew
Very disappointed with this product. I have used these for years and have found them to be light, fast rolling and very puncture resistant. Given that it hasn't rained in Australia for years, I have now discovered how bad these are in the wet.
And after just TWO rides, the rear blew and had to be binned. Have changed to Michelin.
