All new for 2012; we introduce the Vitus Chrono TT bike. From the start line of club TT races to T1 in your local triathlon event; the Vitus Chrono is ready for serious competition.
Lightweight High Modulus UD Carbon Frame
Custom-moulded super high-modulus Uni-Directional monocoque carbon fibre frame with wind cheating attributes. Wind tunnel testing has led us to develop our aero tube set and rear wheel cut out for minimal drag and increased aerodynamic performance. Internal cable routing further reduces drag and adds to the aesthetics of the frame. This super stiff frame maximizes rider input by transferring every watt of power to the back wheel without fear of energy sapping flex; the Chrono will cut through the air like a hot knife through butter!
Shimano 105 5700 Groupset
A Shimano 105 5700 groupset takes care of shifting and transmission duties with reliable, precise shifting every time. The 105 chainset creates the driving force at the heart of the transmission and ensures every ounce of energy is transmitted through the oversized bottom bracket area of the frame to the rear wheel. Braking is highly effective thanks to the dual pivot callipers providing a perfect blend of stopping power and modulation which results in better handling and increased confidence.
Vision Team alloy base bars are paired up with Vision Vector clip-on extensions offering a high degree of adjustability; allowing you to tailor your cockpit so you find the most efficient setting when in the aero position. The wheelset on any bike can transform how the bike handles and performs. The Alex560 wheelset with 50mm deep section rims and aero bladed spokes enhance the aero properties and further reduce aero drag, resulting in reduced rider fatigue over long distances. To complete the wheelset we have added Continental Ultra Race tyres which have a proven track record for performance and reliability in all conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Got this as 30% off too good to miss.
First impressions very good, was all set up perfectly, brakes n gears perfect.
Great looking bike and the vision finishing kit is top quality.
Only small niggles I had were a loose end cap on the brakes and shoddy finishing tape on the bar tape, both were easy to resolve.
I took the front wheel off to compare its weight to my road wheels and it shows the wheelset is on the heavy side, I've worked out that with even an average weight wheelset this will be significantly lighter than my 20lb carbon road bike.
Not to say the supplied wheels might not be fast, they might have their uses but I planned to upgrade the wheels anyway.
1st Road Test:
I got the 56cm and it comes up big, I'm 6ft 1 and was told really its for people taller than 6'1. Anyway I put the saddle forward, lowered it and shortened the extensions and it seems perfect.
This bike is very comfortable to ride, honestly I thought it soaked up road buzz at least as well as my Ribble Gran Fondo which is comfortable. The handle bars are aero shaped which actually makes them comfortable to ride when your not on the tribars. Looking forward to riding it again and I think it would certainly be suitable for long distance TT, or Ironman. (In fact Lucy Gossage rode this frame at the top level this year to Ironman level victory)
For the money (£1329) I dont think you could find much better value, most TT bikes you'd get for this money would be Aluminium which I dont think could be this comfortable, and if you did find a carbon bike you'd probably have to pay a lot more for the level of kit.
