Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fun, good price There is no doubt this bike provides a lot of fun for the money. Purchased with a further 10% off at £263. I'm not sure you can class it as a city bike as its a bit slow on the road with the wide knobbly tyres but take it off road and it's a hoot. Gearing is fine but you will have to get out of the saddle on big hills but that's the point of a single speed. I spent a week on forest trials in Aberdeenshire and it handled it fine. Unfortunately it was damaged on arrival, only cosmetic but CRC customer service dealt with it efficiently. Overall a good purchase. Perhaps should have upgraded and bought the model with disk brakes for more off road stopping power. 13 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple. Solid. Stylish I am owner of this bike for about a year now. I am using it on a daily base to commute. It's a 6km commute right through downtown Zurich. Except for one single flat tire I never had any issues with it. The parts are not the most expensive ones. But they are okay. Changing the back wheel for fixing the tire is a bit unusual because the chain does not have a derailleur. After a while I figured it out. I like the simple and bold appearance of this bike. You can't get a better price/performance ratio. 26 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Estoy contento. 03 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 loads of fun Just had my maiden voyage and had a blast. I've been up hill downhill, through woodland, over small grassy hills. All a breeze. The bike is suprisingly agile and lightish. Well put together and lots of freebies which was nice. My son is busy making a castle out of the box it came in (mahoosive box). Will probably change the brakes, but thats it. I normally ride a single speed tt bike everywhere in the summer. this is perfect for slippy roads. Room to put bigger tyres on which is nice. I looked high and low for a bike like this and still cant beleive i got what i did for that price. its a great bargain, and first impressions are very good. 04 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Must have! This is a fantastic bike and unbelievably good value. Most half-decent single speed bikes are roundabout this price so for a 29er this is even better! I bought this primarily for messing about with the kids at the park and on local trails but I've got totally in to it, using it for my commute. It's a solid ride and eats the road 'cause of the wheel size. I was caught out the other day in a rainstorm of biblical proportions and found myself just laughing and enjoying splashing through the road flooding - don't think I could have said that on either of my road bikes, not even my steel one. I was tempted to get the Dee with disks but thought why over complicate things for what isn't meant to be a serious bike. That said, I have disks on one of my road bikes and they're fantastic and for the extra £50 it's definitely worth it. The only bike I compared this to before buying was the Surly Karate Monkey but at three times the price it was a "No Brainer". Two things - prepare to be amazed at the size of the box this arrives in - good job I remembered to tell the wife about this particular bike-related purcase - I was out at work and it filled the living room. Second, I'd recommend adding some cheap SPD pedals and a pair of Crud mudguards. If you're in any doubts over this bike then I can reassure you - it'll be reet! 27 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super bike Prompt delivery, easy bike to set up. The build quality is brilliant, such a light bike but feels rock solid. I bought it primarily for commuting to work in rotten weather and after a wet and windy ride in this morning I already love this bike 25 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap, good & fun Lightweight, fun & beautiful bike. Rigid, durable & simple. Brings me more pleasure, than my $2K XC hardtail. Love it! 11 September 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great all rounder Brilliant cheap and easy to ride to 29er, great value and looks brilliant. Good for a hack about and messing about in the local woods or bombing around town or on the way to work. 14 August 2013

Answer:
I have not idea, because frankly; the bike has handled everything i have thrown at it. The two real bags can take a lot of weight, the only extra thing i have had to buy was two elastic ropes that i have used on so many occasions to fasten up to 24 littles of water at the rear rack, and thats minus the weights in the two extra side bags.

Answer:
The Vitus Vee runs a standard threaded hub for a singlespeed driver such as the Shimano Freewheel linked below. To remove/install this freewheel you can use any standard 4-pin BMX tool, such as the Park Tool FR6 linked below (sku51605)

accessori

buonasera, sono molto interessato a questa bici.
Dovendola usare prevalentemente per gli spostamenti in città volevo sapere, magari attingendo al vostro catalogo, se è possibile equipaggiarla con un portapacchi e dei piccoli parafanghi.
Grazie

Answer:

Answer:
This bike does not have the eyelets for traditional mudguards. You would have to fit the likes of SKS Beavertail Mudguard Set or SKS Raceblade Mudguards. You will need to select the wider version as the 29inch tyre you have is a wider version.

Answer:
This frame has 120mm rear dropouts which is no longer a size associated with hub gearing, being too narrow to fit the hub itself.

There are some manufacturers who make a 120mm hub gear but they are not sold by ourselves.
