Rated 5 out of 5 by Great wax Great wax I have used other products this is the best. 30 October 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good price, need to re-apply evey ride. Good value for money but like a lot of dry wax lubes doesn't seem to last very long. Regular re application is the answer. 22 October 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the Best I have used Weldtite products for a good while and have found them to be of very good quality, but this wax falls way short of the mark. It does not pick up the usual gunge of the usual British climate but having used it a couple of times it dissappears and the drive train simply refuses to shift smoothly if it shifts at all. Simply changing back to my trusty wet lube resulted in sweet changes again with no adjustments! 11 April 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok, but............rust !! I apply wax lube to my chain for every ride, no matter how short and I think this one lubes ok, BUT..... don't make the mistake of cleaning and re-lubing with this product, ready for the next ride..... if you are unexpectedly delayed and the bike lays idle, significant rust takes over the chain! 03 September 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Maybe an acquired taste Not sure about this stuff as I can only speak of my experience of attempting to use it as a chain lube. I de-greased the chain and applied 2 coats of the product as instructed. The problem is that it dried to a wax with about 10 minutes which was insufficient for the product to totally coat the chain before drying which resulted in the appearance of rust within days. The chain was also noticeably more noisey than with my usual wet lube and so that coupled with the rust issue led me to totally drenching the chain with the stuff. This largely eliminated the rust and noise issue but by this time I'd used a third of the tub and only ridden 50km, and this stuff isn't cheap. I think I'll be sticking to cheap-and-cheerful TF2 light wet lube, and at least with that it's easy to see when more needs to be applied which is always an issue with dry lubes and leads to excessive application. 06 April 2012
04 November 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poco duradero.
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is the first chain wax I have ever tried, it replaces my can of 3in1 oil. It has really good lubricating characteristics and makes the chain run super quiet too. On the downside I found it difficult to apply it thoroughly, and found it didn't protect my chain from rusting as well as regular oil. I commute rain or shine and this stuff just doesn't cut it for me, so it's back to the cheap oil. If you ride mostly in the dry its perfectly fine. 08 June 2010
