Rated 4 out of 5 by mikeee quite solid, better than plastic, feet slip off sometimes
Bought these for my son's junior road bike to replace plastic pedals with worn-out bearings. Kids can't deal with toe clips or fancy clip-on pedals so these are pretty good. His feet do slip off them occasionally and the pedals bang against his leg, no cuts to his legs though.

I've been using these for a year and aside from being a little small for my size 10 feet and a little uncomfortable they do work.
The serious drawback is that their design shreds the soles of your shoes. For that reason I've upgraded to something better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matten Great for the price
I have these pedals on several bikes, and they just do the job. Plus, most types of toeclips and straps can be mounted without a problem, which is also a great feature.

I got a pair of these with a Boardman bike I ordered and for the first three months I couldn't work out where the clicking sound was coming from. Turns out the bearings in the left pedal are stuffed and have been since new. Avoid.

A simple, value for money pedal. Fits toe clips which is useful on my hybrid. Very robust, thankfully but does tend to destroy the soles of shoes when riding. Better when the edge has smoothed off on the grips. After about 14,000 miles the outer bearing retaining nut has worn badly on the pedal axle, but for this money they have done well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous very poor quality
I had these type of pedals as original equipment, lasted 10,000 miles.
So I replaced them with some new one's, what a mistake!
The 1st new pair: left pedal lasted 100 miles before starting to seize up!
CRC replaced them, FOC.
2nd pair: received, didn't even bother fitting them, both pedals (bearings) are as bad as the 1st pair, also the bearing seals keep coming out.
Wellgo I don't think so, more like Wellpoor!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Heavy, clunky, 939 far better.
Bit of a cheap feeling pedal - heavy, bearings not serviceable. Axle seems to corrode quickly and bearings run rough after only a few days use. The Wellgo 969 is the same price and a far better pedal ... get them instead!
