The Laser V has a smooth shape with no sharp edges, making it a great XC, All Mountain and long-distance road saddle. Unsure which saddle is right for your anatomy? The Laser V’s subtle shape makes it the ideal first choice.
WTB Laser V Pro Saddle Technologies:
Comfort Zone: Featured exclusively on high-end WTB saddles, these small windows are cut-away from the base of the saddle to provide additional relief from pressure on sensitive areas. Comfort Zone is a subtle difference that provides impressive long-term comfort.
ABR Corners: These durable patches of material protect the corners and sides of the saddle from rips and tears.
NiCro Tubular Rails: NiCro is a hollow alloy rail material that is as light as titanium, but available at a more economical cost. NiCro tubular rails have a distinctive golden-silver tint and offer unparalleled ride quality.
Flex-Tuned Shell: The Flex-Tuned shell boasts an exceptional mix of comfortable flex and firm efficiency. Not as supple as the Soft-Shell and not as stiff as the Carbon Composite, Flex-Tuned saddles provide the happy medium that is ideal for most enthusiasts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Very comfy, bit pricey.
I have used a WTB Speed V Comp saddle for 10 years, it came on a Marin bike and was so comfortable I swapped it from bike to bike. After ten years the cover material has got a bit 'tired' although still functional.
I decided to treat myself to a new saddle and looked at the current Speed V Comp and the Laser V Pro deciding to go for the Laser V Pro. Compared to my original Speed V Comp, the dimensions are pretty much identical. The base plastic looks identical. The top covering is a bit more fancy on the Laser V Pro, with carbon fibre in the centre channel and two different materials covering the top, remains to be seen how the stiching will hold up long term though. In terms of firmness of the seat when sitting on it there seems to be no difference between this new one and my 10 year old one that I can feel, so I guess that is a plus for the quality of the padding in the original saddle.
The Laser V Pro is a bit lighter too but otherwise there seems little difference. Just as comfortable as my old Speed V Comp so very pleased in that respect but worth twice the price of the current Speed V Comp? Probably not.
