I purchased this saddle to replace a Cube Selle Italia X1 race saddle which was extremely uncomfortable. The Speed V was exactly what i was looking for in comfort & easy riding. The price tag is great for such a well made item, also looks great on MTB, would certainly recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous A truly beautiful saddle and not a bad ride either
It's not hard to see why this saddle is so popular. The shape and curves are so smooth. I bought it to replace the Rocket V. Although the Rocket makes for a faster ride, the Speed V is definitely the more comfortable. The stitchings are also beautifully done. I am not so sure of the logo on the nose of the saddle, but that is not something I would complain about. CRC have a good price for this item compared to what is obtainable elsewhere. I am pleased.

Bought one 4 years ago to replace to replace uncomfortable Bontrager saddle on Trek Ex8. Best investment of £25 ever. Going to buy another now for new Trek X-Cal, which also has uncomfortable Bontrager! Only down-side is it's a little heavy.

Cheap, robust, comfy. The perfect combination. Rip it, buy another one. At that price it couldn't be a better buy. I use mine for 3 hour rides regularly and find it's as comfortable as it gets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great bang-for-buck-saddle!
First of all it's a cheap ass saddle but thus far I've had nothing bad to say about it (have had it for 3 months). It's quite a sofa but at this price I'll gladly take it!

Really great comfort saddle just a tiny bit heavy. If had an old one for about 10 years with no issues and bought a second one for a new bike.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous The problem with online buying
For build quality and value it gets five stars. However, in relation to my requirements it gets one star, why? well, we are all shapes and sizes and for this reason I've learned that something person specific like a saddle is best checked out in a shop first where you can physically see and touch so it suites your specific build and needs. In my case, I'm 6ft2" 14stone and athletic build, I was looking for a comfortable saddle in a touring/speed trade off. Based on description and pics the saddle seemed to fit the bill but when it arrived I was shocked at how tiny it was and felt a bit hard done by. Its about 30% smaller than I expected and very narrow in the a**e bone area so not very comfortable. After 15 - 20 minutes I get a pain in my a**e and fork area :) so move around on it to relieve it a bit. My advice, go to your local bike shop, check out the saddles til you find one that suites your needs and build, if it seems a bit pricey take note of the make and model and check online. Saddle is so so important!
