Rated 5 out of 5 by does the job used it twice so far on a SRAM casette and it works as it should 19 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Well Central pin guide very handy to locate easily in the hub. I can then grab a spanner without the tool falling out. Does the job well everytime. No problems, and cheap also. A must have in the tool kit. 12 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works perfectly Does exactly what you would expect it to do. Fits a 24mm socket or spanner. 28 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple tool with more than one use. Very pleased. I bought this to assemble a center-lock rotor lock ring - and it worked fine. Other cassette tools may not work as they don't have the depth to accommodate the wheel's axle, as I found out. One strange point: the hex bolt size is 24mm... never seen one before and I don't have a spanner to fit one so I used an adjustable. No problem, just a bit odd. 23 May 2014

Depth of the tool

Hi I have previously bought the BBB lockring remover ("BBB Lockout Cassette Lockring Remover BTL12")...it works great on front wheel and the cassette, but it is too shalow and does not allow me to get onto the rear brake rotors without removing the rear axle!! (mavic crossride wheels).

This tool seems a little bit deeper...could you compare the depth of the two please?

Thanks

Answer:
Any rotor adjustment would require removing the rear axle from the wheel and wheel from the frame as without doing so; the rotor can not be removed, cleaned etc.
