Rated 2 out of 5 by Does the job but difficuklt to use I was converting my bike to a 2X10 and needed to remove the outer chain ring . Got this little tool and its a real fiddly piece of kit . It will help hold the rear slot but with great difficulty . I think is just more of a design failure as the tool is well made. Perhaps it would be easier to get another pair of hands when doing this to loosen the chain ring bolts. Having said all that I did eventually get the bolts off and new ones fitted. 06 May 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by not needed before trying it I thought this tool was needed to change chainrings (which I'd never done before). actually it's not (a finger is enough), and this one wouldn't be useful anyway, because the middle tooth, that's supposed to keep in place the tool on the peg, is too short. one would need to file the other two. I confess I don't know what's the other edge for, but that's my bad. 23 November 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by 21 November 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job It's quite small but serves it's purpose at a budget price. I used it on a single chainring with no problems but I would imagine it's small size could make it quite fiddly for working on a triple. 19 April 2010
