Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 123 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great stand This is a great stand and easy to set up and dismantle, only negative is that you really do need to tighten the quick releases up very tight otherwise the stand can collapse. 02 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value for the money spent Easy setup and well made for a fairly cheap product. Not necessary to spend more. 25 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent piece of kit Always wanted one of these but usually in the £100 mark. Saw the the other day and decided to get one. The fact that it's collapsible too means that when not needed it takes up little room in my garage to store, which for me personally is a real bonus! The clamps are sturdy and I can tilt my bike horizontally and almost vertically (don't need to) but handy when adjusting the gears, wanting to get to the rear of the bike as well as the handle bars. I ca adjust the hight too, I can work on my 26" right down to my sons 10" frames without killing my back. 13 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 06 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by How did I get by without it? I wasn't expecting this to be such a quality item. I'm sure more expensive ones have more features but I can't see that they would be much better than this quality wise. Extremely sturdy and easy to setup. Everything is quick release and the tubes are all solid. Even having it on the grass wasn't a problem. I'm 6ft and this extends to the right height for working on the gears etc. Folds up nicely and doesn't take up much space. If you are even slightly serious about maintaining your bike then you need one of these. Every job from cleaning to maintenance is so much easier. 04 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price work stand Had this stand for about 4 months now used it all the time I can extend it to its full max, have my bike at eye level and it stays put no wanting to collapse on me. For the money you can not go wrong I work on my own bikes and I have also used it for my mates bikes. It's not perfect in build put again what do you want for this kinda of money buy it you will be very happy with it. 30 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by pied d'atelier tres pratique pied d'atelier léger tout en étant assez robuste et pliable pour transport. 28 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Don't hesitate quality kit It's like is had kashima coatings put on it smooth sturdy and simple to use Bang on the money 22 July 2014

The maximum weight holding capaicty of the PCS-10 is 45 kg (100 lb.). However, this assumes the weight is centered over the legs.

Answer:
I cannot find any specification about that. I can say that while applying pressure on the stand during bike repairs, I didn't have any problem. Finally I suppose that the only case that anyone can reach or exceed the limits of that work stand is by applying extreme pressure while working.

Answer:
It doesn't come with a tote bag and I'm not sure if X-Tools make a tote bag for it. Obviously you could use a tote bag designed for any other portable workstand or you could use the bardboard box that comes with the stand. It's quite protective and that's what I use for storing mine.

Hi,
I see that there are two X-Tools Home Mechanic Prep Stands on the CRC web site that look the same but, this one does not have a FREE bike mat yet they are different prices. Are they the same stand?

Answer:
As far as I know there is only one model of the X-Tools Home Mechanic Prep Stand so the stand that comes without the mat is probably just an old code in the system. By the way it is a very good home mechanic stand. It won't stand up to daily abuse in a bike shop but it is more than good enough for home repairs and it will last a lot with home use.
