Rated 4 out of 5 Does the Job Does the Job it was bought to do. Only does it clockwise, not in reverse. 22 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job This was a good price for a torque wrench. It works well and does exactly what it is supposed to. Feels well built and is easy to use. Be aware this does not come with any bits and is just the wrench. I wouldn't be without a torque wrench if maintaining and building bikes. 18 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Value for money! Needed one of these for ages, but kept using "feel" to tighten those more.delicate areas... then the carbon parts were ordered and I realised I needed something more accurate! This tool is brilliant for the money, all indicators are written on the adjuster, the feel is brilliant, should have bought ages ago! Highly recommended, for this price, and occasional use, it is perfect! 04 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tool for the money За свою цену прекрасный инструмент. Кликает громко, все работает, футляр хороший. Точность калибровки не проверял. Для работы с битами нужен переходник, которого в комплекте нет. Good instrument and great for the price. "Click" is quite loud, all works, box is good. You will need the adapter (not included) for the bits. 28 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Right torque for the nuts and bolts Good product. I do not need to me afraid to over tighten bolts and at the same time can be sure that they are tight enough. Cheap, but no bits of adapter with it. Hard to find a bit set to fit the wrench. 25 July 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Esta dinamométrica no funciona correctamente. 20 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap and good. This product is cheap primarily because it contains no extras. No hex key sockets or bits for example. To work on your bike, you will need these extras. Most torque wrench kits on offer seem to include them, but cost more. If, like me, you already have these parts, the standalone wrench makes a very good purchase. If you don't, then cost the parts needed from your chosen source and see if it is cheaper to buy separately. Do the math as they say. Even if you have the Hex sockets, you will need a drive converter. The wrench has the smallest size drive, while the sockets will invariably be the next size up. All begins to sound very complicated doesn't it? I have used this wrench, it worked well, made a nice solid click when the torque was reached and I have to trust it was calibrated correctly. The wrench has at least 4 different styles of torque stamped on the shaft - nm, ft.lb etc so readings should be easy to use. Well done, Chain Reaction, it worked for me! 16 July 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Does NOT do torque settings of left hand threads I'm particularly disappointed in the description provided by CRC which suggests that this torque wrench is bi-directional. I've already got loads of ordinary wrenches, what I wanted was one that sets the torque. Most, maybe all, bikes have left hand threaded parts. This wrench is not best suited to bikes. Excellent for lawn mowers. 09 July 2014

Answer:
Yes, the bi-directional reference is that the engagement can be switched from left of right depending on the direction of the threading.

Answer:
Andy is suggesting the wrench will torque in both directions. I found it would operate in both directions, but only torque in one direction.
Could Andy clarify?

Answer:
I ordered this wrench on the advice from CRCAndyC and I'm disappointed. The wrench will only work as a torque wrench in one direction i.e. it is NOT possible to set torques on left hand threads - such as pedals & bottom brackets. I now have to go to the bother of returning the wrench.

Answer:
As this wrench also uses a 1/4" Drive like the Pedros Pro Wrench; there should be no problems running them with the X-tools version.
