I was really surprised when I opened the box. The build quality is a lot better than I was expecting! Ok so the welds aren't very pretty and it is a bit plasticky but if those things really bother you put your hand a bit deeper into your pocket and pay for a professional work stand. I clamp my Orange five buy the top tube and it holds nice and steady, think I will need to tighten up the rotation clamp soon as it wobbles slightly when I'm working on it. Not a major issue to sort out though.
Worth every penny and even if it only lasts a couple of years I'd be happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Good for the price as I was looking for a cheap one and this does the job nicely.
The groves that lock together to close free rotation do not fully close, but close.
Great for my hardtail, not so much for dh rig as its heavier and the top tube.

I'm really disappointed with this. The assembly quality is so poor. The only reason it gets one star is beacuse the material is ok. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone. Spend some more and buy a real quality product like the ones from Park Tool - you'll regret buying this :-(

I recently got this and it is cracking, nice and sturdy with my 30lbs trail bike on.
Alot of people have said about the fixings and the fact that they do not come with it and I can see why. It all depends on what you are going to attach it to. If they give you wall anchors and you are going to attach it to brick then great but they are not going to be any good if you are going to attach it to wood.
Other then that, if and when you buy enjoy!

It works perfectly, but don't forget to buy bolt to fix it to the wall

I have been looking all over for a deacent wallmont.
Have been to Biltema, Clasohlson, and that is not to compare with this.
This is so much more solid and compact.
My one critisim is the same as others have commented. That the rotating head relies on some plastic teeth to lock it. it all looks a bit jittery with a 31lb trail bike held by the seatpost however, its easy to resolve. remove the adjustable handle on the back with a 4mm allen key, get a 6mm and crank up the concealled bolt, wack the handle back on.
It was easy to fix this.
This stand is great value for money if you are not a pro using the mount all day all week.

been using this for a year now. it is what is and thats a relativly cheap product. that said unless you are a shop then you will not need anything more than this. its a solid unit with lots of adjustability. my one critisim is that the rotating head relies on some plastic teeth to lock it. it all looks a bit jittery with a 31lb trail bike held by the seatpost however, its easy to resolve. remove the adjustable handle on the back with a 4mm allen key, get a 6mm and crank up the concealled bolt, wack the handle back on and bobs your uncle!
go for it. stop faffing around upside down or trying to rest the bike against the wall whilst trying to set up the gears.
