Rated 5 out of 5 by brilliant i am using this on my dirt jump bike and it looks so good. as for strength it strong and i mean STRONG. i was a bit worried about getting a half link chain because i thought that you might need a high end chain tool but my park tool chain tool did this chain with ease. you will not be disappointed with this chain. 02 April 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great chain Baught this chain 3 years ago. Been riding on it ever since then until today when it finally snapped. Had my bike in a storage unit where minus degrees and high humidity occurred during the winters, the chain got rusty but didn't start making noises or crying for oil. I would say this is the best chain i ever had during the 14 years i've been riding. I ride pretty aggressively bmx park/street with 25/8. If i might ad during these 3 years. it NEVER snapped before. 12 June 2013

Only reason I ask is because I brought a half link chain for my old bmx and it kept snapping and breaking. So thought I'd be safe a double check first

Answer: 
The reason for the previous chain braking is generally due to the stretching of the outer plates on a half-link chain.

This chain however is very strong; but if you would like additional chain security then a traditional design would be better.
