Yeti AS-R Carbon Suspension Frame 2011

The Yeti AS-R Carbon frame features a new full high modulus carbon lay-up that has been optimized for strength and weight savings. Improving the lay-up process means the frame has the perfect blend of carbon that is able to take a beating on the trails but still tip the scales at feathery lever. Everything about the frame screams speed and efficiency.

The rear triangle's oversized chain stays area super stiff and keep the bike on track when the trail gets rugged. Combined with the ability to easily convert the standard 135mm QR rear axle to a 142mm x 12mm thru axle with our chip system, the AS-R Carbon is poised to take on the burliest race course or cross country trail with ease.

The finishing points on the AS-R Carbon are worth noting as well: it has titanium fasteners, a carbon fibre dog bone (linkage) and integrated composite press-in bearings. Even the details of the AS-R Carbon keep you riding faster and further than the rest.

Answer:
That is correct; there is not enough clearance on the chainstay/seatstay to allow a 180mm rotor.
