When it comes to handlebars, tried and true aluminium remains the material of choice for many pros. In part, that’s because their bikes have to meet a minimum weight requirement, so there’s little reason to use a sub-200g carbon fiber bar like the Zipp SL. But it also means that aluminium bars like the Service Course SL have to meet the fit, durability, and performance standards of teams like Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY12 and Cannondale prepared by CyclocrossWorld. The Service Course SL is produced using our proprietary ZTL-71 alloy and intricate internal butting processes to achieve a weight of 280g (42cm) with superior strength and rigidity. It features a classic look with round cross-sections throughout and is available in the same, comfortable Traditional bend shape as our carbon bars. The drops are angled outward by 2° to reduce wrist strain. Features: • Sizes (out-out): 40, 42, 44, 46cm • Weight (SS 42 cm): 280g • Clamp Diameter: 31.8 • Clamp Width: 40cm/120, 42/140, 44/160, 46/180mm • Traditional Bend: Yes • Clip Compatible: Yes • Max Brake Lever Torque: 8NM • Max Torque Clamping to Bar: 8NM • Drop style: Traditional

Bars are a very personal thing - and this one does it for me. It allows a modern 'flat' top so you don't just have one position on the brake hoods. It also has a nice deep drop, with a flat section on the drop which if find very comfortable. I have tried far too many bars over the last few years, compact, classic, carbon funny shapes, but this one is fantastic.
