The new VukaSprint carbon drop bar adapts the VukaBull’s advanced airfoil top section to be more aerodynamic at the angles most commonly found in a drop bar setup. Internal cable routing and a sculpted top section provide comfortable hand positioning, while the broad profile and stiff carbon fiber layup yield a responsive ride quality. Even so, the VukaSprint weighs just 210g (42cm).
The VukaSprint is available in Short & Shallow drop shape in 42 and 44cm widths.
Features: • Sizes (out-out): 42, 44cm • Weight (SS 42 cm): 210g • Clamp Diameter: 31.8mm • Clamp Width: 50.0mm • Short-Shallow Bend: Yes • Clip Compatible: No • Max Brake Lever Torque: 8NM • Max Torque Clamping to Bar: 8NM • Drop style: SS
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous I have 2 top end bikes FSA wing bars on one and these new Zipp Vuka Sprint V2 Short/Shallow (44cm) bars on my new bike, the FSA are a little stronger and when I set myself for a long lock in grind they are a bit more comfortable in the lowed position locked in to holding on to the hoods, due to the flat area that you can rest your hand on. The new Zipp bars look the part, they are the first bar that I feel I can ride for extended periods in the drops, they are stiff enough and give better clearance than the FSA bars while sprinting. The wing shape while not as comfortable as the FSA wing bars are certainly comfortable enough to pull against for extended mountain climbs. Be careful when ordering as they measure outside to outside, 44cm only just wide enough; understand 46cm will soon be available. I have Dii2 on my new bike and had to be careful when filing the outer hole to slide the end plug through the bars, some people should leave this to your bike store as it’s a job for tradesmen at least. Overall love the new bars, matches the new beyond black Zipp wheels, best looking bar going around.
