Alé Pro Race Strong Bib Shorts

Part of the cutting edge REV-1 racing range, the Pro Race Strong Bib Shorts offer a perfect balance of comfort, muscle support and of course the added protection from Dyneema®.

Fluid and Supple Muscle Support

In order to give you a smooth and fluid pedal stroke while at the time lightly compressing hard-working muscles, Ale deploys their Zaffiro material. This Lycra® Power material is used to gently squeeze and compresses muscles, encouraging blood flow and providing fatigue-busting support during pedalling. Multi-direction stretch also gives perfect motion and return while excellent abrasion resistance adds durability in saddle contact areas.

Dyneema® Side Panels

Whether racing or training, there’s always a chance you’ll pay a visit to the tarmac, which is where the Dyneema® side panels come into play. Stronger than steel at the same weight, it offers outstanding cut and abrasion resistance. In the event of a crash, this contributes to less likelihood of suffering ride-ending road rash and you won’t have a set of ruined shorts either. Lightweight and breathable, it’s a brilliant addition to these race-ready shorts.

Y-Air Bib System

With their Y-Air Bib System, Ale has increased rider comfort by lessening the contact area between straps and skin. With more skin open to the air, both breathability and ventilation are improved, but thanks to the Y-shaped back, the short’s stability and position are maintained perfectly. Soft microfibre straps also promote a feeling of lightweight comfort and freshness.

Men's Velocity 8F seat pad

Offering long-ride comfort on the saddle, the Men's Velocity 8F seat pad makes use of open-cell foam to add support just where you need it most. With a density of 100 g/m² and a maximum thickness of 12mm, you'll enjoy vibration absorption and easing of pressure at the saddle contact points.

With perforations in the foam, this pad is significantly better at dealing with perspiration than a non-ventilated pad. It also allows for better airflow and quicker drying times, both keeping you feeling fresh and dry, no matter how many miles you're into your ride.
