The focus is on a great fit, honed for flexible pedalling, easy movement and streamlined performance when piloting your bike at speed over any trail. The flexible waist has been improved to make it even more comfortable while pocket access has also been improved, making it easier to get at your stored essentials.

When it comes to the rough and tough world of mountain biking, the durable Type.OF11 fabric fends of cuts and abrasions. The bi-stretch woven construction also benefits you, freeing you up to react quickly to the terrain as it changes beneath your tyres without ever feeling restricted. Comfort is also enhanced by Sens ST inserts, adding a touch of compression where needed and outstanding breathability alongside a super-soft touch.

Fast-drying, flexible, UPF50+ and with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, these shorts protect you against all the elements.

Assos has also been very meticulous with the fit of the Trail Cargo Shorts. The elasticated waist construction known as the AZPtech, ensures a smooth and comfortable feel, lessening pressure across the waist while still holding firm. The trim fit also prevents snagging on the saddle, leaving you free to move around the bike with ease. Meanwhile, the lower legs are relaxed to be suitable with or without pads, giving you the confidence to take on any trail feature.
